Pregnancy series-Baby shower

27 weeks pregnant

You and Tom still hadn't told everyone about the fact you were having twins you thought that the baby shower would be the perfect place to announce to everyone not just the gender of the baby but also the fact that you were having twins.

It was the day of the baby shower and you were feeling very excited to let everyone know your secret, you wore a flowing dress that showed your bump perfectly that was now getting a lot bigger. The baby shower was being held in the garden of your new house and you had everything planned out perfectly. It got to midday and everyone began to arrive of course Tom's family arrived first they walk through the back gate as you and Tom are standing in the back garden Just setting stuff up.

"Hello?" Nikki says you turn around and smile when you see her and the rest of the family you walk over to her and hug her.

"Hey" you smile Tom then follows greeting his mum as you say hello to the rest of the boys and Dom

"How long til the baby will be here then?" Sam asks

"13 weeks so like 3 months" you smile

"That's still long" Harry laughs

"Not too long" Tom says getting a bit salty

About 20 minutes later everyone had arrived and you were walking around mingling with everyone and you had heard the same thing over and over again

"You must be so excited"

"You're looking big"

"Are you scared about giving birth?"

You got to the point of sighing whenever them questions came up again and again as you're standing at the food table Harrison comes over to you with a huge smile on his face he was the only one who knew about the fact you were having twins.

"I seriously don't know how they don't know about the twins I mean no offence you're really big" he laughs you just hit his arm "Seriously though Tom is so excited about being a dad I mean look at him" he points over to Tom who was playing with your friends toddler

"He's so perfect" You sigh "sorry"

"I think so too, he's always wanted kids and I'm not going to lie when I met you and saw you two together and how you bounced off each other I knew you two would be getting married and having kids"

"Really?"

"Did you know when he first told me about you his exact words were 'she is the one I just know it'" you just smile as Tom comes over and places his hand on your bump and one of the babies kick you just look at him and smile as he felt it too.

"I think we should do the gender reveal" You and Tom had decided to do a gender reveal for your friends and family even though you knew the gender. You and Tom head over to the little stage in the garden and grab a microphone

"Hey everyone, so we have a little treat for all of you since we found out the gender a few weeks ago we don't need to do a gender reveal but we thought you guys would want one" Tom smiles

"So Harrison is coming round with balloons and when you pop then the confetti inside will tell you the gender of our baby" Harrison hands out the balloons to everyone half of them were blue and the other half pink once everyone has the balloons Tom wraps his arm around your waist and pulls you closer

"Okay pop them in 3..2..1" Tom shouts everyone pops them and blue confetti comes from the pinks ones and pink confetti from the blue ones and everyone looks very confused.

"Okay so you're probably confused so when we found the gender out we also found that we're having twins!" Everyone cheers and Nicola runs over to you and hugs you She was so excited about becoming a grandmother and you were excited to be a mum.
