Today, I have decided to take a break from spying on Allyson. I needed one, especially after Cheryl's lecture. I was in my bedroom, sitting at my desktop. I clicked a file on my laptop, and it opened to a bunch of recordings. I had made some vlogs when I first started this case. My thoughts and motivation has change since then.
I clicked the camera icon and clicked the red dot after it loads.
"Hi, I'm back. If anything has happen to me, please watch the rest of the video. I know it's been while since the last time I made a vlog. More like two days. But I was busy both of those days. I was helping Allyson with her 'injuries'. Allyson seems to be a nice person, but that's all that she was. Nice. It's been three to four days since the incident and my judgement of her has altered. I don't know if she's acting or not or if she just doesn't know me too well, but I am going to find out one way or another. I have to get to know her so that I don't get the wrong victim. And if I do, I'll regret messing with her life and if I don't, well, we'll see. I would just like to make it clear that what I'm doing is just work and that's it. Although, I do have some positive feedback about her. She's sweet and charming in her own way, but can be clumsy. She sleeps pretty well. And well...that's all that I got. Today, I am going to go for a walk in the park and everywhere else where I can clear my head and think. Until next time..." I hit the stop button and closed my laptop.
I put on a hoodie and a pair of Nike shoes on and went on the hike. I looked around at my surroundings, making sure no one was following me. After everything was clear, my mind began to fade into thoughts.
My dad was in the hospital, still having surgery. He went into a coma again after his second heart attack that was caused by Allyson and her friend. But I know that he will make it through because he's strong and brave. I know at times that he could get complicated, but that's only when things don't go his way. He became like that ever since mom died. I was only ten then. Kris and I didn't really know anything. We didn't know why and how she died. My dad told us that she got an illness.
Anyway, those memories were kind of fading away by now. I don't even remember what she looked like.
Kids laughing happily was all that I could hear. I had arrived at the park. There was a playground in between the sidewalk I was walking on and to the other sidewalk, which was about ninety feet away. In the middle, there was a big water fountain with plenty of coins.
I looked at a little boy, who was running around happily, chasing the other kids to tag them. It warmed my heart to see him smile. To see all of the kids smile actually. I've always had a soft spot for children. They are so full of life and innocence.
I felt a pull on my arm and leaned my head down. It was a little girl. She had a sad, worried look on her face.
"Excoose meh, sir," the adorable girl spoke with such gentleness and softness. "Can you git me my ball? It fell into the big water fountain." She pointed towards it, and patting her head, I walked off to the water fountain.
Once I arrived, I moved my arm and hand to grab it. Unbeknownst to me, someone was grabbing for the ball the same time as I did. My hand had landed in front of theirs and instantly I felt a spark. It was a feeling I knew too little of.
I lifted my head to see who it was and just like that, we made eye contact. I was astonish to see Allyson here. I mean, Ally.
"Hey," I greeted.
"I-I am so sorry," she apologized.
Her facial expression, that had a mix of confusion, shock, and sadness, made me smile. "It's alright. I should've watch for your hand."
