Ten Years Later...

"Did you get the diapers?" I ask, placing plastic plates, spoons and forks, and cups in a bag. I shut the cabinets and look behind me.

Liam stands a few distance from the kitchen, holding out the baby bag. He nods his head. "Yes," he replies.

"Bottles?"

"Check,"

"Wipes?"

"Check,"

"Charlie's blanket?" I question. "And extra clothes?"

"Yes and yes," He takes a step closer and sets the baby bag on the table. "Why are you worrying so much?"

I place the bag of plastic on the table and rests my hands against the edge of the table. "Because it's Charlie's first time going outside. I don't want him to get sick."

"We've done this two times already," he states, causing me to cross my arms.

"And it still doesn't bother that our son might get a cold?" I question.

Liam sighs and walks around the table. "Sweetie, I understand, but we've done this two times. Angelina and Oscar have made passed it." I nod my head and shake away the doubts and hesitations.

We turn our attention to our three-year-old son, Oscar. He was walking with his favorite stuffed bear, Mr. Snout, while playing with the zipper on his jacket. Liam creases his brow and points at his son. "Well, lookie there," he walks to him and kneels down to Oscar's height. "Is someone not wearing their cap? It's quite chilly outside, son. You don't want to get sick."

I scoff. He hears me and shifts his eyes on me. "We've done this two times," I mock him and his accent.

Liam snickers before turning back to Oscar. Oscar frowns, "Daddy. Where are we going?"

"We're going to meet Isabella, JJ, and Teddy," Liam answers.

Oscar gasps. Joy always overcomes him once he hears their names. JJ and Teddy were practically his best friends. JJ is Lauren and Louis's two-year-old son while Teddy is Dinah and Harry's.

He runs into the living room and continues to watch another episode of his favorite cartoon. Liam stands up on his feet and heads my direction. "He definitely has your energy," Liam comments.

I chuckle and nod my head. "Yes," I reply. "But he has charming good looks." I fix the collar of button up t-shirt.

"Ally, do you know what this cookout is for? The others think it's urgent, considering they were the ones who created it," He questions.

I shake my head. "Nope. Camila told me to close the bakery today. She gave me the address, and that's it." I look up at the clock hanged on the wall and widen my eyes. "Oh, shoot. It's almost five. We have to get going or we won't make it in time." My hands begin to shake, and I wanted to touch my hair and twist it, but it's too short, shoulder-length.

Liam grabs both of my hands and locks our fingers. "It's going to be fine. We're going to be fine. I will put the bags in the car and start the engine. You gather the kids." I nod my head, and he blows me a kiss on the forehead.

Liam picks up the bags on the table and exits the house. I walk into the living room and see my little baby boy, Charlie, smiling in his crib. I smile at him and pick him up in my arms. "Mommy's got you, Charlie," I said.

I look at Oscar and speak, "Oscar, it's time to go."

Oscar's smile brightens, and he stands up immediately. "Okay, mommy," he replies. He looks around as if he was trying to find something. "Mommy, where's Angie?"
