My eyes open to bright morning. I shift my eyes a little, confuse to where I was. And then like a snap, it all came flooding back. We arrive last night at the airport at three and to our hotel at four.

I still couldn't believe it. Last night was enchanting. It was everything I could have hoped for.

I shift my eyes to my husband. His eyes were still closed, and his arm was wrapped around me tight. I pull his arm away and uncover my sheets slowly as I set my feet to the ground. Just then, some sort of smell clogged my nose, and I could feel my stomach uneasy. Something was about to come out. I swallow the air, but that didn't help. I remove my sheets completely and rush to the bathroom. I open the door and charge for the toilet. I press my hands against the tub beside it as I aim my digestion out of the toilet.

I continue until I feel my stomach settling. I rise to the sink and wash face and rinse my mouth with water. I spit out the water and stare at myself in the mirror. That was weird.

I head out the bathroom, shutting the door behind me. I pick up my suitcase and unzip the zipper. As I start to unload, I hear Liam groaning. My eyes shift at him and see his eyes open. He sits up and looks at me before sending me a sweet smile. "Morning, sunshine," he greets.

I tilt my head, fixing the hanger on the my white floral top, and grin, "Morning, frizzy."

He ran his fingers through his messy hair and scratched the back of his neck. He uncovers the sheets and heads into the bathroom.

I finish unpacking and look out to the city view. It wasn't as bright and warm as it was last night, but it was still a beautiful view. The windows of the buildings reflect the flares of the sun. On the rooftops of one, I can see a group of people touring the city.

I cover my ears, hearing a car honked. I shift my sight to the street and see the cars passing. One of the main things I don't like about big cities is that it can be crowded and noisy.

Two hands slide under my arms and lock. Just smelling him, I already know. He pulls me back against his body and rests his head in between my shoulder and neck. "What are you thinking about?" He asks lightly.

"The city," I answer. "And how beautiful it is."

"You're beautiful," he comments. I raise my hand and pat him on the head before turning around and connecting our eyes. "So, what's the agenda?"

Liam smirks, adjusting his hands behind my back. "Well, I was thinking I would let you decide. I want to make this day as special as it can be."

I smile and shake my head. "That's very sweet. I will enjoy it, but I want your input. It's our honeymoon, which means you and I have to come together and compromise."

Liam nods his head slightly and thought for a second. "Okay. How about we go to the ice rink in the city? And then you can decide our next stop."

"Perfect," I reply. "Now, I have to get ready." He releases me, and I grab a set of clothes and my toothbrush and enter the bathroom.
...
Liam and I stand at the bus stop, waiting for the vehicle. Even though it's spring, the weather is still chilly. I tighten my coat around me and let out a small shiver.

"Here," I hear Liam said.

I turn to him and see him hold out his large coat that he had taken off, revealing him to be in his hoodie. I shake my head, "No, but thanks."

"You're freezing," he states.

"But—" I begin, but he wasn't taking no as an answer. He wraps his large coat around me, and in an instant, I feel more warmth than I thought I would. "Thanks," I reply. Liam smiles, and I return it.
