It was 4:35. Dinah was taking forever in the bathroom. I'll never be ready if she is in there by the next five minutes. I kept pounding my fist against the door, constantly reminding her that I needed to get ready, but she just wasn't listening. "Dinah, please. If you want me to get ready for the date than you need to let me use the bathroom." I knocked once more, but she still doesn't answer.

I gave it one last try before giving up. I leaned against the wall and stood there waiting. My towel was wrapped around my arm and I held a tight grip on it.

I wondered how Ally's doing. She hasn't called me nor texted me and now, I'm really worried. She said that she would call. What if something had happened to her? Oh, no.

I rushed back into my room, carefully - not wanting to worsen my leg. I picked up my phone, which was lying on my bed, and dialed Ally's number.

I began to bite my nails as I fear that she wasn't going to pick up. After the final beep, I decided to text her to see what's been going on:

Hey, Ally. It's me, Camila. I've been wondering what you've been up to. Please text me back as soon as possible.

This sounded a bit too needy, but I didn't care. I shut off my phone and placed it back onto the bed. I walked back to the door of the bathroom and knocked on it once more. "Dinah," I pleaded.

The door instantly opened as if it was magic. I let out a sigh. "Dinah, you scared me. I thought you were being sucked into vortex or something." I smiled cheekily.

Dinah rolled her eyes and looked down on her watch. "It's 4:38. You can make it, can you? If you need help, I will be in your room."

I nodded and walked into the bathroom as soon as she left. I took a nice warm shower and dried myself off. I put on my robe and started blow drying my hair. The intense heat was filling up the bathroom.

When my hair was almost to the point of drying, I walked back into my room. Dinah was sitting down on my bed. putting makeup on herself and she was looking stunning. She hasn't put on her dress yet, but I know that she will be gorgeous in it.

"You're back," Dinah said. "Okay, it's only 4:50 and the guys will be here around 5:30. I feel a little relieved, but I am still really anxious. The food is in the refrigerator, and I still need to oven it. Everything better turn out alright." I sat down right next to her as she continued to ramble on, "I still have a lot to do. I still need to do your make up. Put on my dress, set the table up." I placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Dinah. It's okay," I assured her. "I am with you. And I will help you."

Dinah hold onto my hand and nodded. "Thanks." She continued to apply blush on her cheeks.

Poor Dinah. She has the sweetest heart. It may seem like Dinah is boy crazy most of the time, but really, she is just looking for that guy. The one I should say. She deserved it. Dinah never had a stable relationship like Ally. And it just breaks my heart knowing this. She is so sweet but sometimes, she tries too hard. But hey, what do I know. The most romantic thing a guy has ever done to me was look at me.

After she was done putting makeup on her and me, she walked down into the kitchen to get ready. I told her that I am going to come down in a bit. As I looked into the mirror, I could see that the light eye shadow had complimented my skin and lips. Just the way that I wanted it. I didn't like having too much makeup because, well, it was too much. Dinah, however, thinks that dipping your face in makeup is a great way to let you shine.

I pinched my cheeks lightly and gently tap on it to feel the complexity. It's roughness made me cringe. I shrugged it off and hopped downstairs.

Dinah covered the dinner table with a silky white sheet. I looked over to the oven and saw it was at 350. I'm pretty sure Dinah heated the food. I opened a cupboard and grabbed four plates. I set each of them parallel to one another.

After I set the silverwares beside the plates, I looked over at Dinah. Dinah was getting the lasagnas out and setting them on top of rags that was on the counter. She closed the oven fiercely and leaned against the counter. Sweat was covering her face, but not to the point where it damaged her makeup. She wiped her forehead and sigh heavily. Taking off her apron, she looked like a chef, which is ironic to say.

I looked at the clock and read 5:26. Shoot. They are almost here. My stomach began to ache at just the thought of their presence. I wondered what they looked like, especially the boy Dinah hooked up for me: Harry. I like that name. It's sounds very mysterious yet at the same time exposing. I hope everything goes well tonight. I might actually meet the one tonight so I have to be the best version of me tonight. First dates are usually getting a feel of the person. It prepares the person what their date is like and they act. For me, I never went pass the second date because some guys find me...well, not suitable for them. I mean, I wouldn't blame them. I said it before and I'll say it again. I am weak and very dependent. I'm trying to fix that about myself.

"Camila!" I heard Dinah's shriek at me. I broke out of my thoughts and my eyes turned to her. "Are you alright? You've been speechless since you came down."

I smiled and swallowed hard. "Yeah," I replied. "I'm just a little nervous. It's been a while since I went on one of these."

Dinah walked all the way from the kitchen towards me and wrapped her arm around me. "Girl, so am I. I am a nervous wreck here."

I was going to speak, but the sound of knocking caught our attention.

Dinah jumped up and shook me. "It's them." I nodded and took in a deep breath as Dinah went to open the door and greet them.

It had now hit me that I wasn't ready for this. There was too much pressure on me right now and a millions doubts and hesitation filled my head. I took a seat at the dinner table and rested my stomach or I at least tried to.

"...and this Camila," Dinah introduced me. She and the two guests had entered the dining area, which wasn't far from the entrance.

I looked up at the two boys who were smiling. One guy had long brown hair with green eyes. He wore a light purple dress shirt with black jeans. And the other one had short brown hair with blue eyes. He wore a white button down shirt with a vest that a pattern sewed with it.

"Camila, this is Harry Styles," Dinah pointed to the guy that was wearing the light purple dress shirt. "And this is Niall Horan. Harry will be your date for tonight."

I nodded and stood up to get a closer view of him. I studied his face to see if there was something that made him felt odd or uncomfortable. His dimples stuck out the most from his facial expression because they made him look adorable.

Anyway, I greeted him, "Hello, it's nice to meet you."

"Same here," He said with a smile and my mind was blown by his accent. He had an accent like Zayn.

"Guys, you should sit down, dinner will here," Dinah said. "Camila, can you help me?"

I turned around to Dinah, walking into the kitchen. I was going to answer back, but Harry had spoke up, "I can help." I looked back at him with curiosity. "Camila, you can sit down. I will handle it."

He walked to my seat and pulled it back for me to walk in front of and pushed in my chair for me as I sat down. He's a gentleman. Nice. He walked into the kitchen, leaving Niall and me. We were sitting diagonally from each other. He rubbed his hands together.

"You look nervous," I told him.

He smiled with a small chuckle and replied, "I kind of am." His accent surprised me in a different way. He didn't sound British. He must be the Irish one Dinah was talking about.

"Don't worry," I assured him. "Dinah is a sweet girl. You'll love her." He nodded

I looked over at the kitchen and my eyes caught Dinah and Harry having a moment. They soon broke it up, but I knew that there was something going on by the way that they looked at one another. I knew right there that he and I weren't meant for one another. He could never looked at me the way that he looked at her and I knew it.
