Liam's POV
What a fool I am to lie to Ally again. I didn't mean to. I only wanted to protect her from Troy and his manipulations. He has mistreated her a lot of times. And he needs to be put behind bars. Especially in the agency. He has stolen money from Allyson and twice from P-Jewels.
When I saw the video of Ally sneaking and taking the money, anger had washed over me. I wasn't thinking straight. I immediately assume she was someone else. I might not know why she stole it - my guess is that she is under Troy's commands. But I know that it wasn't her choice to.
It's ironic how there was a similar situation like this in the beginning, and now, there is another one. Plus, my father, Nicola, and Kris are all gather by the employees and customers for robbing "their" own money at P-Jewels. I have to get down there and set things straight.
I look outside the window - I was still a few minutes away from the destination - and look at the rate that Dylan was driving - 55 mph. "Dylan, can you please pick up the pace?"
"Yes, sir," he says. He presses the accelerator and steers the wheel firmly.
About three more minutes, Dylan drives to underground parking lot and press the brake near the entrance. I thank him and exit the vehicle. In front of me was the stairs that led to the back door. I run up the stairs and enter the building.
I hear a chant coming from the gymnasium. The chant grew louder as I came closer. I enter the gymnasium and see Louis, father, Nicola, and Kris standing up on the stage, talking about the situation. Betty stood up in her seat and talked about her case out in the open.
She pointed at Louis, who turns away, looking shameful. "This man, Louis, tried to murder me!" she screams, causing the rest of the audience to gasp. I listen intently to what she had to say. "Last night, I see him sneaking in the vault, searching for something. I caught up to him and asks multiple questions, but he shot me down. Luckily, I was able to escape because he missed me, but he left me a mark." She unfastens her sleeve and points at the scar on her forearm.
Louis shakes his head and clears his throat. He speaks into the mic, "To everyone, I never nor will ever think about harming the employees. All of you are like a family to me."
Betty shakes her head and scoffs. "Yeah, that's what he said to me. But look what happen," she remarks. "Honestly, Louis, why are you here? And why did you stole the money? Is it to give it to that girl you kept flirting with?" Betty pointed toward someone in the corner of the stage. I move my spot a little to see Lauren standing there.
Louis's eyes shift to her and then back at the crowd. "Please. I never took any money, and I will never do that. The girl over in the corner will never ask me to do that so don't drag her into this."
"Awww," Betty jokes. "Did you hear that?" She turns over to the crowd and then back at Louis. "Mr. Tomlinson loves the girl over there. Honestly, I've seen her not even one bit interested in you."
Louis turns over to Lauren and speaks, not taking his eyes off of her, "Although she might not love me as much as I do her, I will always be by her side." His eyes held this feeling of hope and pleasure. The ones that I've seen with Ally's.
I bring my hands up and clap for him, and for everyone to notice my presence. I make my way through the aisle as their eyes were glued on me. I hop on stage and pat Louis's back.
"Thank you," he says.
I nod my head and then turn to the crowd until I found Betty. I lean down to the mic and speak, "Thank you, Betty, for demonstrating one of the most cruel some act. Betrayal. Now, I cannot honestly judge you hard core as I have done some sort of that to my lovely wife. And I will regret that until the day that I die."
