Ally's POV

My eyes opened to the sound of the door creaking open. I turned my position so I would face the door. I opened my eyes a little and was blinded by the brightness that had filled the room.

"Get up, girls," Aunt Lana said. To my side, I could hear Dinah groan. She was not a morning person.

My eyes shifted to the circular clock hanging on the wall. It was five in the morning. I let out a yawn before I unravel the blanket. I glanced at Dinah - she was on her phone - and I headed into the bathroom.
...
I head out of the bathroom and looked at Dinah, who was getting ready for the bathroom. "Ally, can I ask you something?" she asked me without looking.

"Sure," I replied, beginning to tie my hair into a ponytail.

Dinah turned back and sat down on the bed. I followed her position and sat across from her. She cleared her throat and began speaking. "You know...Liam. I know that you have met him for a while and I know that he's beginning to be somebody in your life as a friend." She moved her eyes at me to see my reaction, but I didn't show any. I mean, what could I possibly show. "I know Liam has treated you well and kind, and I had just met him too... so, I would just like to ask you something. But there is something that I need you to answer first." I nodded and patiently waited for the question. She seemed to be hesitant about asking me. "You and Liam, what do you think about that?"

I raised an eyebrow, confused. "Liam and I?" Dinah nodded. I trail back to the memories and the emotions. Geez, there was a lot of things that I felt when I was with him. And I can honestly say that—Wait. Does Dinah like Liam? I looked at her and studied her facial expression and body movement. She does seem to be nervous yet excited for my answer. However, there was something off about her. I couldn't tell what it was. I had to play safe. "Liam and I care for one another," I began and she kind of sulk. "He was the person who helped and save me, physically and emotionally. He helped me heal from Troy. You could practically say he is my hero. H-he is the best guy friend you could have."

That lifted Dinah's head a little. I knew it. She held onto my hands. "Ally, you know that I could and would never disrespect you and your friendship with Liam, so I'm asking you as a friend. May I go for Liam? If that's alright with you."

I smile immediately, not wanting to think about any of it. "Yeah, of course."

"Are you sure? You wouldn't mind?" Dinah questioned.

"No, I wouldn't mind at all," I told her.

Dinah grin and stood up. "Thanks." She picks up her things and headed to the bathroom. I stood up myself and was going out of the room until I heard Dinah's voice. "Hey, Ally. What are you doing today?"

I looked at her. "I, uh, I have some personal business I have to go and take care of."

"Where at?" Dinah asked.

I shook my head. "You don't want to know," I told her, but that just led her to be more curious.

"Come on, tell me," Dinah said.

I let out a sigh and shook my head. Dinah pouted and crossed her arms. "Come on, Ally Brooke, tell me. As a friend I command you."

I tilted my head a little and groan. "Okay, Fine. But don't tell anyone this. I'm going to go to the docks. I am meeting someone over there. And don't ask me who. I don't want to say."

Dinah nodded. "Seems serious," she commented. I nodded.

"Well, I'll let you use the restroom," I told her. She nodded a little and continued on with what she was doing.
