I exit the bathroom, now in dry clothes. I left my drenched clothes in the tub. I close the door behind me and see Ally, still in her wet clothes, folding her clothes and setting them in her suitcase. "What are you doing?" I ask.
"I think it's time for us to head home," she answers.
"It's only been two days," I point out.
"Well, I don't want to be with Mr. Jealousy. I want to be with my husband," she points out.
"I've only shown it once," I defended, taking a step closer.
"And you will show it again once another guy comes and talk to me," she said. I tilt my head and cross my arm. "And I've seen that look before."
"What look?"
"Your jealousy look," she replies. "I didn't know what it was at first, but then, today answered it for me."
"When did I make it?" I question.
She sighs and tosses the piece of clothing she held into her suitcase. "The first was when I was with Niall. And then the second time was when Will and I were talking."
I scoff slightly, not sure what she meant by that. I mean, yes, I do remember those events. Niall and Ally seemed to be flirting with one another during Zayn's birthday party while I was angered at Will because he was about to say something that wasn't his issue. And I did not need Ally to know. I'm not ready to tell her.
"No," I said. "Will was completely different."
"But Niall..." she says.
I nod my head, admitting that part was true. "Yes, it's true. I got jealous, but only because you two seem to be hitting it off. I admit. I was scared that I might lose you."
"One time," she says, raising her voice. "Niall and I only talked once."
"Once was enough for me," I said. "How would you feel if I was flirting with some other girl?"
She scoffs, setting her hands on her waist. "Wow, I can't believe you're actually saying this," she buries her head in her hands. Muffled, she speaks, "Liam, I trust you that you won't leave me and cheat on me. Yes, I might be jealous, but I remind myself of all the things that you do for me. I can't help but feel something more and more each time. But where's you're trust in me?"
I take a step closer. "I do trust you," I said. "But can you guarantee me that someone might tore us apart?"
"It's not going to happen," she assured me. "It's not. I give you my full faith and trust once I said 'I do' at our wedding." Her eyes dart to her clothes, and she picks up a shirt and begins folding it.
"Okay, Okay," I repeat, raising my hands up in defeat. I take a step closer and set my hands over her wrists. She releases the clothing out of her hand and raises her eyes to meet mine. "Can we just forget what happened? I don't want to fight."
"Me either," she says, more calm. She places her free hand on my hand that grasped her wrist and squeezes it a little. Her lips form a small grin. "This is ridiculous. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have overreacted."
"And I shouldn't have been rude to that guy," I add. "He seemed to be a good guy. And he was very muscular and tall."
Ally shakes her head. "Don't worry about that." She removes my hand and sets both of them around my neck, looking up into my eyes. Her beautiful eyes, I can see them sparkle. "You got me, and I got you. There's nowhere else I would rather be."
"Me too," I spoke softly, ending with a grin.
In a moment, our lips connect, and I feel miraculous sparks hitting my stomach. I set my hands on her waist and feel the wetness of her shirt and the water that was dripping from it. I trace the edge of her black shorts and lift her shirt up a little. My finger touches her waistline, and I drew small circles that gave her chills. She chuckles a little, breaking our kiss a little before she actually pulls apart from me. "It's too early," she whispers, reading my mind. But I knew that she want it as badly as I did.
