Liam's POV

Cheryl reported me to come over to the tech room. She said that she had found new information. As I enter the room, I saw Cheryl and Harry staring at some paper work. I cleared my throat and adjusted my shirt a little.

Cheryl and Harry turned their attention on me. "Ah, finally you're here," Cheryl said in relief.

"What's the news?" I asked.

"It looks like Allyson's not working alone," Harry said, getting me confuse.

I scoffed, having the need to correct them. "She goes by Ally." Cheryl widened her eyes and gave me an odd look. "And what are you talking about?"

"Remember that employee you fired?" Cheryl asked.

I nodded. I tucked my hands into my pocket. "His name was Trey something."

"Close," Cheryl said. "His name is Troy." She slide back to the computer and pulled out a profile of him. "It turns out that he was the one who pulled the bomb or explosion - whatever you like to call it. And I had accessed the other cameras and it seemed like those two were a couple."

"Well, those two aren't an item no more," I blurted out, causing a strange and angry look from Cheryl.

"Liam," Harry said. "Have you been talking to her?" He crosses his arms.

I nodded. "Yes, I have. She doesn't seem to be that kind of person. And if she did, she had her reasons."

"Are you actually defending her?!" Cheryl exclaimed, crossing her arms. "You seem to have a bit of an interest in her."

A shot of frustration and anger filled me up. "Why does everyone think that?!" I exclaimed. "When I talk about her, you and other people think that I have something towards her. I don't. Yes, I like her, but I don't have any personal feelings about her."

"Then why are being like this?" Cheryl asked, setting her hands to her waist. She was just as mad as me or worse. "You wanted to find her and you did. But the second you get to talk to her and get to know her, you just let her go. Why? Can you honestly explain to me why?!"

I ran my hand through my hair. I could feel my sweat on my forehead. "Because I know that she isn't the one who stole the money. I know she didn't hurt Nicola nor my father."

"Can you be one hundred percent sure? What if she is just trying to fool you? What about when your father had a second heart attack? What about the phone call? What about the ring? What about the earring? Have you forgotten all of these clues?"

"Well, Troy could've set up her up," I defended.

"I don't think that's the case," Cheryl pointed out.

"Guys!" Harry shouted, which got our attention. I forgot that he was in the room. "Arguing won't do you guys any good. Cheryl, you've been in a tight situation, but you need to release your stress on something else. Liam, you need to listen to Cheryl more. If you guys are going to be husband and wife, you both need to learn on how to compromise. If you need time to think things through, take it. Or else, you both are going to be in a doom marriage. You both need to be one hundred percent sure with no doubt that you want to be together."

Cheryl and I exchanged looks. Harry was right. Except for the last part. Cheryl knew how I felt about her. I know how she feels about me. It just wasn't the same. I looked at her and then at Harry. I had to think this through and I knew exactly where to go. I turned around and walked out.

It didn't take me long before I got to my house. I pulled out an empty luggage and opened it up. I wasn't running away from my problems. But I wanted to think things through before I actually could make a decision.
