It's been so long being in the hospital. Liam's wound has been healing slowly, and he was ready to go home.
He sits on the edge of the bed with his hands pressed against the mattress to keep him up. I leave my spot by the table, fixing his bag on my shoulder, and grab a hold of his arm. I lift him up with his own aid, and we exit the room. I made sure there was nothing left behind.
We walk into the elevator, and I press the button for the doors to close. I tighten my grip on his arm, causing him to look at me. He probably felt some kind of pain. I smile faintly. "Sorry," I said.
He shakes his head and smiles back. "You're fine," he says. "I'm just wondering if you are okay with P-Jewels and SABO. I know I'm going to be pretty busy once I fully recover. And I just need to know if you are going to be okay."
"I am okay with anything as long as we get some time to ourselves in the end," I reply. "I'm going to try to look for a job." And hopefully that takes up the time when he is gone. I still haven't told him that I am pregnant. I don't want that to interfere with his decision to quit what his father inherited him to run.
"Are you sure? You don't look too well," he acknowledges. "You have been looking very pale lately and tiresome. Are you okay?"
I nod my head. "Yes, I am. I just been staying too much inside, you know?"
He nods his head but seems doubtful. My hands tremble slightly, and I turn away from here, hearing a ding. The doors open, and we walk out.
We see Zayn and Camila sitting in the lobby, waiting for the two of us. I wave my hand in the air until Camila catches it. Liam and I proceed to walk to them.
As we reach them, Camila and Zayn stands up and greets the both of us. "Hey, that was pretty fast," Camila said.
"Well, there wasn't much to pack, and someone wants to get out of the hospital as badly as they can," I shift my eyes at Liam, who looks like a lost puppy.
"In my defense," he raises a finger, "it's been two of the longest weeks I have ever encounter. The only thing that kept me going was my precious angel." I cover my blush with my free hand.
"Awe..." Camila comments. She turns to Zayn and pulls on his arm. "When will you start saying sweet words to me, Zayn?"
Zayn raises an eyebrow and looks at her obliviously. "What are you talking about? I tell you everyday how much I love you." He grabs Camila's hand, and her cheeks grow red.
She turns away. "Okay, stop it. We're in public," she mumbles.
I widen my eyes, unsure on how to take that. Has my Camila grown up? Surely. Just by the way that her eyes gaze into Zayn's says it all.
"Shall we go?" Liam asks. "If I stay here any longer, I am going to be crazy." I rub the touch of his skin on his arm, easing his eagerness.
"Yeah, let's," Zayn replies.
We head out of the building and walk to the car. I open the back passenger door and help Liam get in. Once he was situated, I rush to the other side and join him. Zayn gets behind the wheels while Camila takes shotgun.
In less than an hour, we arrive at the house. I unbuckle Liam's seatbelt and help him out of his seat. I hold onto his arm like before, and the four of us enter the house. Right away, an aroma of cinnamon rolls and turkey hit me in the nose. Smells like Thanksgiving already.
Zayn and Camila rush to the dining room where they were serving dinner. Liam and I stay put for a while. I look up at him and see that he was deep in thought. I gently rub his forearm, and he darts his eyes on me.
