Liam's POV

I got a phone call from the hospital. It seemed like my father had another heart attack.

I rushed to the hospital as fast as I could. What caused him to have another one?

I ran to the elevator doors and pushed the button.

Repeatedly.

Is this button broken or what? Why is it being so slow?

After what seemed to be hours, the doors finally opened, and I walked through and pressed on the third floor button. My nerves began to tensed up. I didn't know what to do. I hope that it turns into nothing serious.

After the doors reopen, I rushed into the room, but found it empty except for two girls. I could recognize them. It was Allyson and her friend, Camilla. They were just standing there in 'shock', ignoring their surroundings. Probably thinking about ruining someone else's family. And then it clicked. My mind finally solved the puzzle. It was them.

I was going to stomped towards them and scold them for what they did, but I had to control my anger. I clutched my fist and ran out of the room before they could get the chance to see me. I turned over and saw the nurses and doctors hovering over my dad, taking them away.

I scurried to them and finally caught up. I looked at my dad as I walked with the direction. "Dad. What's happening?"

My dad raised his hand and finger towards me weakly. He was hardly moving and breathing. In this moment, I was horrified. What if he doesn't make it? What if he doesn't survive this? But I just got to keep telling myself to believe that he will be okay. He will be okay.

"A-Al-Alle—" my dad tried to say, but stuttered.

"W-what?" I asked in fear.

"All-lyson and C-Cam—" he started to say, but he got pulled into the room.

One of the doctors stopped me and told me that I couldn't go in. I ran my finger through my hair.

Allyson Brooke Hernandez. Of course.

This just gives me further proof that she's not innocent. Why would she be? She stole money from my wedding. I, in disguise, confronted her about it, but she seemed to be unsure. Then, she made my dad have a heart attack. She's a lying, manipulative...maniac.

I ran my fist into the wall, but it didn't hurt. I was going through so much emotions right now that it just didn't bother me.

"Hey," I heard someone's voice. It sounded familiar, but not too familiar. I quickly glance at the person behind my back and saw it was Allyson.

I widened my eyes and quickly turned back. She can't know who I am just yet. I looked back to see if she was gone, and she was heading towards. Therefore, I just walked casually away from her and into another hallway.

"Hey, you there," she called out.

Man, this girl isn't giving up that easily, is she?

I continued to walk around for a while until I stopped hearing footsteps behind. I was turning to a corner with a flight of stairs and stopped. I looked back and saw Allyson gone. A part of me felt relief.

I turned around and unfortunately, my body collided with another. Luckily for me, I caught my balance, but the other person didn't. It was a lady. She was tripping over her heels and was trying to catch her balance before falling down the flight of stairs. I had manage to grab a hold of her wrist, but it was too late. My body had slammed against hers as I try to pull her in.
