In front of us was the building. There was something about it that was familiar. I felt like I have seen the title of it somewhere.

"Ally," Dinah whispered, grabbing a hold of arm. "Come on," she said, pulling me towards the entrance.

At the entrance, there was a guard. He was big and muscular. Liam came up to him and gave him a hand shake. "Liam, how you doing?" the guard ask.

"Well," Liam answered. He looked at the two of us and introduced us. "Dinah, Ally, this is Rob. Rob, Dinah and Ally."

We waved at him, and he waved back a little. "You guys may go on," he informed us, gesturing his hand to the entrance.

We walked inside, and I was flabbergasted to see the sight. There were circular lights that were circulating and shining everywhere. People were dancing against one another and the smell. Ugh! I could smell some alcohol in the air, but it wasn't as bad as the smoke. There was some areas where the two were mix. Someone was smoking inside the building, and it was giving me a headache. I held my breath from time to time.

I felt a nudge on my arm and looked at the person who just interrupted my thoughts.

"Ally," Dinah began. "Let's dance."

"In a bit," I told her.

Liam then came in front of her and held my hands. Even his touch couldn't satisfy me from the horrible smell. "Are you alright?" He asked.

"Yeah," I answered, trying not to keep eye contact with him. I just kind of zoned off and stared into space.

"Are you sure?" He asked me. "Because we could go back you know."

"No, we don't have to," I told him.

"Are you really sure you can handle this?" He asked me, trying to connect with my eyes, but I couldn't let him.

"Liam, of course," I said, letting go of his hands. I took a step back. "I think I'll just hang over at the bar. You and Dinah can dance."

"But—" he tried to question, but I interrupted.

"Hurry, go. The party won't last forever," I told him. "You don't always need to worry about me. I can take care of myself."

"Okay," He said, finally budging.

Dinah danced her way into the crowds as Liam slowly begin to process dancing with the music. I walked up the three steps of stairs and sat on A stool, in front of counter. I had to jump a little to sit on the stool.

A bartender attended me and asked, "Aren't you a little too short to be at a club?" He asked. I cocked my head at him and shook it. "Gee, I'm sorry. That was a joke."

I nodded, inhaling a breath. "May I have a glass of water?"

"Sure," He said with his Irish accent. On his face, lots of freckles were present, and he had messy red hair.

He grabbed the pitcher of water from the back and grabbed a glass cup under the counter. "So what brings you here to this party?"

"I just came here with my two friends because one of them invited the two of us," I smiled, but then, it faded.

"Where are they now?" he asked me.

"They are dancing at the moment," I told him. My voice was drained for just the thought of them being together down there. And I'm letting it happen.

"Is there something wrong..." he trailed, unknowing on how to identify me.

"Allyson, but most people call me Ally," I informed him.
