I slowly walk towards the very end where Cheryl was held in chains. She was tied against a chair as her hands were chained against the wall. She was dirty and drenched in sweat. Her head sulks down, and her eyes were close. I shake my head, seeing Cheryl in this state. She looks like she was in full of pain.
I grab a hold on her shoulder and shake it a little. "Cheryl," I whisper. I shake her shoulder a little more, calling out once more.
"Camila, break the chains," Dinah said.
I turn to Dinah and then at Camila, who slashed the chains with the laser. Cheryl's arm collapse to the side, waking her up. She raises her head slowly, taking in her environment before acknowledging me. She gives me smile and lets a breath of relief. "Ally," she mumbles.
I return the smile and grab her arm. I wrap it around my shoulder, and Camila follows my action with Cheryl's other hand. The both of us lift her up from the seat and carefully walk out of the warehouse.
"Let's take her to the car," Dinah suggests.
We follow her order and made our way to the car carefully. I open the door and walk inside first. I grab a hold of Cheryl's hand, and she hops inside the car. I help lay her down on the seat before making my way around her and exiting the car.
"I'll watch her," Camila volunteers.
Dinah and I look at her. I bat my eyes a couple times, feeling a pit in my stomach. "No, I am staying with you," I reply.
"No, Ally, having one person looking out for Cheryl is enough," Camila says. "Go. I will be fine. Lauren, Normani, and the guys need your help."
"You sure?" Dinah questions.
Camila nods her head. "Yes," she answers.
I give Camila a half smile, unsure on how to feel about the situation, but I guess I will let her slide. I trust she knows what to do.
Dinah and I part from her and run across the side of the warehouse. As we were about to make a turn at a corner, Niall jumps out in front of us, frightening Dinah and me.
"Niall!" Dinah exclaims.
Niall raises his hands up automatically in defense. He catches his breath and pants, "Sorry. I didn't mean to startle the two of you. I was going to come get you guys. Normani and Lauren are being held captive."
My eyes widen, shaking my head in disbelief. "Where are they?" I ask.
"I don't know," Niall said. "But you guys need to stay put. I will try to go find them."
"No," I said. "We're coming with you."
Niall shakes his head. "I don't think so." He begins to walk, and I was going to come after him for a conversation, but Dinah holds me back. She pulls the gun out and hands it to me.
"Here," she said. "Shoot at anyone who comes near you. I will go with Niall."
I nod my head. "Be careful," I said. Dinah follows Niall, and I look ahead.
I turn to the corner and tiptoed to the entrance. I hold the gun firmly, wrapping my fingers around the handle. As I reach the entrance, I spot someone's footsteps approaching me behind my back a couple feet away. My heart skips a beat. My hands begin to twitch. I shake my head.
You can do this!
I hold the gun with my hands, my index finger pressed against the trigger, and closing my eyes, I swing 180 degrees, pointing the gun at them and applying pressure on the trigger. My whole body vibrated. "Stop!" I shout, not opening my eyes. "Or I will shoot."
