Ally's POV

It has been three days, but Liam and I couldn't find the bus that carried my stuff. I didn't give up though.

Liam and I were at the sixth bus station in Long Beach. The sun was close to setting. We were talking to one of the workers. "I'm sorry. No bus came from that destination. Is everything okay?"

My face saddened. "Yeah," I answered his question. "Everything is okay." I put on a fake smile and turned around.

Liam placed his hand on my shoulder and rubbed it a little to comfort me. "Come on. It's time to go home."

We walked back into the parking lot. I saw Andy waving at us inside the car.

After I got inside the car, I sulked down in my seat. Liam sat down beside me. Andy started the engine and adjust the rear view mirror. "Where are we going next, Boss?"

"Home," Liam replied.

My eyes stared out the window. My mind wondered where the bus could be. That bus! I needed my phone and my clothes. It was nice for Liam to let me borrow some clothes from his relatives, but it didn't feel right for me to wear someone else's clothes.

"Ally, are you alright?" Liam spoke up breaking the sound of silence.

I shook my head. "No," I told him straight up. My eyes started to water. I know that this is ridiculous. Me crying for my personal belongings, but I needed those things to make me feel at home. It's been three days and I haven't called Camila. She's probably worry sick about me. Dinah should be coming here by tomorrow. It really has been a long day.

"I'm sorry," Liam said. "I thought the last one would be the one."

I turned to him and shook my head even more. "No. It's not your fault. It's just probably fate. I mean, we searched every single one of them, but there was none."

"Boss, have you looked at the one behind the Long Beach Mall," Andy spoke. His words had chipped my mind.

I looked at Liam, who looked surprised and devastated at the news. He shook his head in disappointment. Then it clicked. "Why didn't you want to look there? Is it bad or something?"

"Yes," Liam answered. "And no."

I crossed my arms. "Explain it to me," I said. He sighed, and then it was his time to shake his head. "Come on. How bad could it be?"

"Listen, if I tell you, please tell me that you won't go there," Liam said, increasing my curiosity. "Promise me," He said after I didn't reply.

"I won't go there," I answered. "I promise."

Liam then adjusted his position and looked at me straight in the eyes. I stared back at him. Our tension didn't break anytime soon. "Okay. When I was little boy, my parents and I would travel to places through the bus. When we came back here, we were at that bus station and it was scary. Terrifying, I should say. There were these awful people that would cause trouble. They would beat up people and send them to the hospital. I have no idea why they haven't shut that station down. Please..." He held onto my right hand. "...don't go over there. I don't want anything happen to y—my guests."

I scrunched my eyelids and looked at him. Okay, now I am debating whether or not I should go. No matter how hard it was to let go of my items, I had to just acknowledge that it wasn't meant to be. I nodded and responded. "Okay. I won't go there."

During the rest of the car ride, the three of us sat in comfortable silence. For not too long, we arrived back at the lakehouse or should I say, lake-mansion. I was going to pull the handle to open the door, but before I knew it, Liam had gotten out and rushed over to my side and opened it for me. I glanced at him for his manners and responded, "Thank you."
