I prepare my day with a bowl of cereal. Aunt Lana had a presentation at her job at six. Dinah set the teabag in the cup and bring it over a few inches near my bowl.

"So, have you and Liam made love yet?" Dinah asked, causing me to choke on my cereal.

After multiple of coughs, I look at her, astonish. "Dinah!" I exclaim. "Telling you about our date in the pass three days does not mean that we are doing that yet."

"Yet?" Dinah question. "So I'm suspecting it be coming soon?"

"I don't know," I said, shrugging and biting my lower lip. "You know me, I'm still waiting for the right guy. I need to know for sure first."

"I get it," Dinah reply. "And I'm just teasing you. So is there anything new between you and Liam?"

I recall the pass three days. Liam wanted to take me as his guest for Zayn's birthday. It is going to be hard to tell her, so I'm just going to say it. "Um, Dinah, Liam invited me to celebrate Zayn's birthday." Her face fell, making my stomach ache.

Dinah did not respond back. She observe the room before looking back at me, ready to reply. "I understand, Ally. You can go. It's just going to suck."

"You sure?"

Dinah nods, "Yeah. Just tell the girls I love and miss them."

"We could talk to Aunt Lana," I suggested, but Dinah shook her head. "Why not?"

"Harry does not want to be a bad influence,"

"Well, I'm going to go to the celebration," I pointed out.

"Ally, really, it's okay," Dinah said, but I knew her better.

"Fine," I reply. "You can stay, and I will stay with you." Her eyes widen with shock as she gasp.

"Ally, no, Liam will be disappointed," she said, trying to make me hesitant and doing a good job at it. But I know that I have to have control.

"Liam will understand," I remark. Dinah crossed her arms and leans back on her seat, pouting like a child. "Dinah, don't be like that. You deserve to go, and I'm just trying to help you." Her eyes shot at me with fierce. Dinah sigh heavily.

"Okay, we can ask Aunt Lana," she gave in.

"Yes!" I shriek with happiness.

Just then, someone knocks on the door. I think it might be Aunt Lana because she usually come back around two, but I guess since she had a meeting, she is let go early. I open the door, and there she was. "Hello, how was your meeting?" I ask.

She sighs heavily, "Tiring. I never knew that our biggest meeting of the year was just a lecture, and we didn't even get to put our input on the project. So disappointed. Mr. Earls, if I could kick his behind a few miles away, I would do that the instant he started to open his mouth." She takes her jacket off and hands it to me. I place it on a nearby hanger as she takes a spot across the table from Dinah.

As come back, I eye Dinah to ask her, but Dinah shakes her head, hesitantly.

"Come on" I mouth.

"But...she is busy" Dinah mouth back.

"Dinah, it's okay. Just ask her. She will understand"

"What?" she whispers, catching Aunt Lana's attention.

"What?" Aunt Lana questions Dinah.

I walk to Dinah and sit down on my chair.

"Nothing," Dinah said. Dinah shifts her eyes on me, and I gesture my head towards Aunt Lana.
