Ally's POV

I walked into the mansion and sat in the living room. In the corner of the living room, I saw Dinah talking to a boy. He was kind of cute. He was taller than her by a few inches and has long hair.

A young woman came and sat down near me. She must be the person whose car was parked upfront. I was getting the feeling like I've seen her face before. Her facial structures, her skin tone. I felt like I've met her before. She seemed quiet and reserved. I gave her smile, trying to lighten her mood up. She didn't seem happy. "Hey," I greeted her.

"Hey," she said, a bit coldly. Although, I shrugged it off.

"How has your day been?" I asked her.

"Indescribable," she said with a sigh.

"How come?"

"I came here to get somebody back, but it turns out, he already has someone else," she explained.

I scooted near her. "Aww, I feel you," I told her. "One of my friends did something like that to me. Sort of."

"What?" she asked.

"It's a long story," I told her. "Anyway, how do you know Liam?"

She opened her mouth to speak but instead, caught her breath. She paused for a moment before replying, "Our families know each other."

"Oh, well, I hope you enjoy your stay," I said to her. My eyes quickly shifted to Dinah and the guy before returning to the lady.

"Thanks," she said with a smile.

I gave her nod. I prepared myself to get up. "Um, I have to go chat with my friend. I'll be back, but before I leave, can ask what your name is? Please."

"Cheryl," she answered.

I nodded and stood afar from Dinah and her new friend. Their conversation seemed like it was close to ending. In a moment, I heard Dinah excused herself and came to me. She had the brightest smile on. I had forgotten her smile. She stood by me. "What are you doing, you eavesdropper?" she blushed.

"Watching you and your companion," I teased her.

"Companion? No, no..." her eyes darted back to the guy. "...he's just an old friend."

"Well, I never smile like to an old friend before," I said. Dinah nudged me a little on the arm. I rubbed the pain and moaned softly. "What's his name?"

"Harry," Dinah said. Her tone was light and her smile complimented the way she said his name.

Harry. It must be the same guy she went on a double date with. "So is this your first time meeting because it looks like you two already met."

"He was Camila's date when we double dated," she explained.

"So I'm assuming things went well with you two instead," I teased.

Dinah stared into space, possibly thinking of an answer, but she gave out a cute reply while playing with her hair, "Oh, I don't know. I don't know...He and I just had this connection. We get along so well, and it seems like he knows me inside out."
