Ally's POV

Dinah, Normani, and Lauren had arrived at our house a few minutes ago. I had welcomed them.

They all gathered around the living room. I was in the kitchen, getting us some snacks. I microwaved a bag of popcorn. We are going to watch The Fault in our Stars. I love that movie and book. It's such a tragedy in the end though. But I guess, that's what makes it amazing.

Ding.

I opened the microwave and opened the bag. I poured it down two bowls. I grabbed the bowls and walked into the living room. I was just in time. The movie was about to begin. I handed a bowl to Dinah. I shared my bowl with Lauren while Dinah, Normani, and Camila shared the other.

2 hours later...

After the movie, we were painting each other's nails. Lauren was painting Camila's while Dinah was with Normani's. I was putting curls into Dinah's hair.

"Ally," Lauren said. "So how are you and Troy doing?" My expression saddened. Lauren looked at Camila with a curious look as to way my face fell.

"I don't want to talk about it," I told her, and she nodded.

"Anyway..." Dinah said, changing the subject. "How about we play Never Have I Ever?" Everybody nodded. "Let me go first." We all listened to her and pulled out five fingers. I had to repeatedly put my hands up as I was still curling Dinah's hair. "Okay, never have I ever kissed a boy in the rain."

Lauren and Normani put a finger down. It was Normani's turn. "Never have I ever went skinny dipping." Camila and I dropped a finger.

Yes, we did it. But only one time. I'm not proud of it, but it was just an experience that I had to get. Plus, Camila and I did not do it on the same day.

The others were shocked. "Really?!" They asked in unison.

"Let's not talk about this," Camila said, her cheeks reddening.

They rolled their eyes. It was Camila's turn. "Okay..." she thought. She had only four fingers left. Only Dinah was the only that was winning by one. "...never have I ever kissed a boy at all." Lauren, Dinah, and Normani placed a finger down.

"Never have I ever lost my job," Lauren said, which made my face fell further down. I could feel the heat hitting my cheeks.

All, except for Camila - who also looked suspicious - looked at me with curiosity because I had put my finger down. "Come on," Lauren said, wanting me to talk about it.

"Spill the beans," Normani spoke. She crossed her fingers.

I sighed and stopped putting curls into Dinah's hair. "I got fired from Encrusted Jewels. Apparently, Troy had stolen money from the vault. I was fired because I gave him my employee card."

"Oohhhh," they whined. They all came and hugged me.

"That's why you didn't want to answer my question," Lauren said. I cringe as her arms had squeezed me a little too much.

"Yeah," I mumbled. "But don't worry," I reassured them. They all let me go and went back to their original spot before the embrace. "I can still earn money doing other things. Unless, they blacklisted me."

"What blacklisted?" Normani asked.

I answered her question. "Blacklisted means that they put you in a list where no one can hire you." She nodded.

I was getting tired of this game already for two reasons. One, I was feeling embarrassed about their statements. Two, I wasn't ready to tell them everything, especially about the mysterious stranger that saved me earlier this day.
