Ally's POV

"Wait," I call to Liam. He stops in his tracks, and I smile a little. I was ready. I was ready to tell him. "Liam, I love you."

I saw him turning his head to look at me, but something made him stop. He turns back and resumes walking.

I breathe hard, tears making their way down. I touch my upper left chest where my heart is. Rain was making their way down slowly.

"Allyson," I hear my dad's voice.

I turn around, angry and upset. "Dad, who are you?! Why...why did you say those things?"

"I only thought of what's best for you," he reply.

"Liam is the most special person to me, and you pushed him down, making him feel like he violated me or something," I stated. "He makes me so happy. You have no idea what he has done to me."

"Baby, I'm just doing what I feel is right," he defends.

"I know you are, but Dad, you didn't even give him a fair chance," I said. "He wanted to have dinner with you tomorrow. He was the one that wanted to meet you. He wanted to get your approval."

"Oh, mija," my mom calls out.

"Mom, you should have told me," I said, shifting my eyes on her. "I expected this out from dad, but not from you."

"Mija, I'm so sorry," she says.

I shook my head. "You might want to tell the guests to leave. It's beginning to rain hard."

My hair was close to being soak. I rush through the rain and the trees to Liam. On the porch, I see him taking a step inside the house. "Liam," I call out.

He turns around as his eyebrows crease. "Ally," he calls out.

I smile. Liam walks down the porch and takes off his coat. "What are you doing out here in the rain? You're going to get sick." He wraps his coat around me. "Let me take you back to the house. Your father is not going to like this." He wraps his arm around my back and drags me back to the direction I came from.

"Liam," I said, putting my feet down and stopping him and me. Our eyes meet as our heads gets completely soaked; our clothes were dripped in the rain. "Are you really going to leave me?"

Liam sighs, dropping his arm around me. He grabs a hold of my hands and smiles. "I love you, Allyson." My cheeks grew red as my lips curve into a smile. He brings one of his hands up and softly caresses my cheek. "That's why I have to do what your father wants because he knows what's best for you." My smile drops like his hands.

He blinks a couple times at me before turning around, but I prevented him from going forward; I wrapped my arms under his arms and cry, "I love you, Liam! I guess, I have always known about it for a while. There's no other person I would rather be with than you." I shook my head against his back.

"Ally," He begins, placing his hands on top of mine. "Sweetheart, I don't want to ruin your relationship with your father. I am not worth ruining your relationship."

"I will talk to him," I assure him.

Liam takes my hands off of his coat and turns back around to face me. He smiles gently at me, caressing my cheeks with his two hands. He leans down and gives me a soft but electric kiss on my forehead.

He returns to his earlier position and speaks, "Goodbye, Allyson."

He releases my hands from his, disconnecting my energy and my spirit. He heads toward the front porch, and I shook my head in disbelief. No, I couldn't lose him. I can't.
