Ally's POV

Home sweet home. I cannot express my gratitude of being back home. I miss my brother, my mom, and my dad, and it's only been a couple of weeks since the wedding.

The wedding. I feel terrible leaving Liam behind, but I needed this. I did. I had a lot to think about, and home is a good place to recounter and refresh my mind. I needed my parents the most, especially my mom for emotional support.

I sent the girls a letter, telling them similar things I did with Liam. Hopefully they will understand. And Liam...

My eyes tear up just saying his name in my head. My stomach turns as I feel a sharp sensation poking the inside. There is not enough apologies in the world to make up for what I did to him. I know I would be extremely pass upset if it was reverse.

Liam, dear god, please forgive me. If you can hear my pray. I just need a bit of time with some peace and quiet. And I also needed to get far away. San Antonio was the only place I could think of.

I close my eyes, refreshing the memories of yesterday. It was after Dylan took Liam to P-Jewels. I ran up the stairs and grabbed a luggage. I knew that I couldn't stay. Liam lied to me too many times, and I...I couldn't stand it. It doesn't help that every time I look at him, I wanted to give in and forgive him. But it's too easy for him. I couldn't stay. I grab my clothes in the closet and toss them in the luggage with every other piece of clothing I had.

I then sat down and grabbed out a piece of paper and a pencil. As I make a mark on the paper, I had trouble figuring out what I was going to say to him. And that eventually lead me to write to the girls first.

I then look at the clean sheet of paper on the table, staring at it for a while. What can I possibly write? It's hard to think what you are going to write. But that's just it. I didn't need to think. I press the lead against the paper and soon begin my cleared-out little speech to him. I sealed both letters in the envelopes.

I jumped a little, hearing my alarm turning off. I look at the screen and read 4:35. Time was close to meet up with Troy. I place the envelopes in the cabinet and walked down the stairs. As I reach the bottom, I see Dylan coming towards me. I crease my eyes, confuse.

"Hi," I greeted him anyways.

"Hey, Mrs. Payne," he says, making me blush a little. "Where are you off to?"

"I have a meeting to go to," I reply. "I will be back soon."

"Let me take you," he said.

I shook my head. "No, I'm good. Thank you though."

I resume walking, but he stands in front of me. "Ma'am, please," he said, giving me a suspicious look. "Are you planning to leave?"

I bat my eyes a couple of times. My eyes shifted elsewhere. Guilt was taking over me.

"Ma'am, please don't leave," he said. "Liam only wanted to protect you."

I smile, knowing well enough that he did. But I still cannot get over his lies. "There are just some things you don't understand," I replied.

For a moment, there was a silence filling up the room. I look at him, and he nods his head. "Well, then, if you are going to leave, I willing to drop you off."

I shake my head. "No, it's alright," I replied. "I think I will be fine walking there by myself."

"I insist, please," he said. I nod my head, giving up since I had to get going. I informed him of the time, and he happily agreed.

Now, I am close to home. I squirm a little, felling something in my stomach, and it wasn't butterflies. For the last couple of hours, I've been having motion sickness. Not even the soothing music calmed it down.
