I walk downstairs, finish putting on my black crop top with my linen jacket and blue linen jeans. I answer the door and greeted Liam. He wore a white shirt with a green jacket and blue linen jeans. He smiles, looking so cute himself. There was always something about his smile that always makes me happy.
I put on my shoes and grab my purse from the hanger. No one was home. Normani and Lauren were at their jobs. I lock the door and got inside the vehicle. I buckle my seatbelt as Liam turns on the engine.
"So where exactly are you taking me?" I ask him.
"First, I am going to take you shopping," he answers me.
Shopping. Just like when I arrived at Long Beach. That feel like it was a long time ago.
We head to our destination. The car ride was filled with comfortable silence as the radio plays on.
Liam parked in front of the out door mall. I grab my purse and head out the door with him. We walk hand in hand and roam around from store to store until we reach a particular store that caught Liam's attention.
We look over each jewelry. A red ruby necklace caught my attention. Its red drew me in. I took it off the shelf and looked at the price. $47.89. Too expensive. I sigh, really disappointed.
"Hey, Ally," I hear Liam's voice. I turn to him, but before I even had the chance, he places a violet toy ring on my finger. "I'm sorry, but I was wondering if this will fit you."
"It's alright," I reply. He takes off the ring and place it back where he found it. "Are you done?" I ask him.
"Yes," he nods.
We walk out of the store and move to our next destination: the bowling alley. And of course, he wins. But we went over to the arcade and play ping pong, I beat him. However, it was a short victory because he beat for the majority of our play.
Next. He takes me to a little game station where there are three couple: the dating couple, the engage couple, and the marry couple. Somehow, Liam and I were selected to be the engage couple, but I wasn't complaining. The game was, which couple knew each other the best wins. It sounds like a decent game, and it's actually really fun. It reminds me of Full House. Liam and I got second place, but we were fine with it because even though we weren't really winners, we still knew each other. I feel bad for the married couple because they were so nice but they lost.
Liam and I roam a few more times before my feet begins to sore. Liam takes me to one last place before we headed home.
Less than twenty minutes, Liam parked by a building. I observe the building. There was something familiar about it. I can recognize the black paint that is fading on the wall and the size of it was bigger than your average store.
"Ready?"
I look up at Liam, not realizing he got out of the car already and was holding the door open for me, giving out his hand. I half smile and grab his hand. I pull myself out of the car, clinging onto the chain strap of my purse, and he closes the door behind me.
I face him, asking, "Um, where is this?"
Liam smiles. "You know this place," he answers, turning his smile into a smirk.
I blink a couple of times. I turn back once more to the building. The windows. The font on the building. I was on the tip of my seat. I knew what it was, but I just couldn't remember.
