Liam's POV

I look at myself in the mirror, buttoning my shirt up. The party is starting in a couple of minutes, and Ally is waiting on me. I hope I don't disappoint. Ally's dad seems to be seeing my colors.

And the party is for who? A guy? And Ally seems to be excited to see him again. Maybe because they were friends or maybe because of something else.

No, Liam. Don't overthink things. You and Ally are in a good place. You can trust her.

True. We are in a good place. I almost told her those words, but I don't think she was ready for it, especially since what her dad thinks of me. I know a long time ago that...I love her. I love Ally Brooke. She is the one that I've been waiting for. I could lists how she change me and the things that she made feel, but some would not be on the list because some are simply indescribable. I want to tell her by tonight. I am planning to.

I hear a knock at my door. I turn around and open the door. Standing in the door, wearing a green dress, Ally smiles, "You ready?"

"Almost," I reply. I grab the blue coat and button it. Once I brush off the dust, I raise my elbow. Ally wraps her arm under it, and we walk out.

Outside, we saw guests coming to the backyard. I guess, that's where the party is. It seems more like a dinner party though.

I lean down to Ally's ear and whisper, "So, what about dinner with your parents tomorrow?"

"Hmm?" Ally ask, completely confusing.

I chuckle. "I was saying, why don't we have dinner with your parents tomorrow?"

Ally sighs, "That will be nice. I will ask them when I have the chance."

"Alright, sweetheart," I said. I lean down and give her soft kiss on the head, causing her to giggle.

The sun sets as we arrive to the backyard. There was over fifty people here or so it seems to be. There was a stage in front of the dinner tables. Ally and I walk to her parents table.

"Ally, won't you sit down," Ally's dad said. Ally takes out her chair and gestures for me to take the seat beside her. Before I pull the chair, Jerry interrupted, "Liam, I'm sorry, but that seat is reserve. You are welcome to sit on any other table."

Ally glance back at me. I nod, reassuring that it's okay. She nods and proceeds to sit down. I roam around and find an empty seat a couple yards away from Ally and the table.

I straighten my clothes and watch Ally from a far distance. For a moment, Ally turns around, and our eyes meet. I was okay being far from her as long as I know that she was okay.

Jerry and Patricia walk up the stage and grab the mic. "Welcome to our Welcome Back party. It's amazing on how many families can come and support ours."

On the right of the stage. I see a man, dress in white, standing. I have a feeling that this party is dedicated to him. There's something about him that I don't like.

"Um, excuse me," one of the guests said to me. I turn and face the elder lady. "Aren't you Liam Payne? Owner of P-Jewels?"

I smile. "Y-Yes, I am," I reply.

"Really? I love your guy's jewelry. It goes with everything that I wear," the elder said. She pointed out her necklace and the bracelets.

"Thanks," I respond.

"So, why are you here exactly?" she asks me. "Are you a relative of Jerry and Patricia?"

"No, I came here with my girlfriend,"
