I chop. I wash. I stir. I place the soup in the bowl and place it on a tray. Beside the bowl, I occupy the empty space with a cup of water, a napkin, and a spoon. I smell the scent. It gives off a refreshing and a nice chicken soup smell. I hope it heals Ally. And if not, I can hopefully make some more this afternoon.

I pick up the tray and carefully carry it pass the kitchen before I see Kris coming my way. "Liam?" He questions. I stop in my tracks and look at him. "Where are you going with that soup? We have a dining room, if you haven't forgotten."

I smile and shake my head. "This isn't for me. It's for Ally. She fell ill."

Kris raised an eyebrow and crosses his arms over his chest. "Is this Ally your new girlfriend?"

I nod, feeling the tray heavying. "Yes," I answer. He returns with a small blank expression. "I'm sorry, but I have to get going. Ally might be awake."

"Okay, I'll see you later, brother," he replies, pulling out his keys. "I am taking Cheryl to the museum today. I won't be back until ten. And I might visit Dad on the way."

I nod. "Alright," We depart in opposite ways.

I walk up the stairs, taking caution. Once I make pass the stairs. I enter my room, opening the door slowly so it won't squeak. I turn over to Ally and see her still resting.

I set the tray down on the table and walk over to Ally. I sit down on the chair and reach the back of my hand to feel her forehead. Her head is now cooler than usual.

I stand up and lean over to fix her sheets. Suddenly, I hear a quiet moan coming from her. I look at her and kneel down. I grab her hand and press both of my hands on it.

I wait until she became conscious. My excitement grows, seeing her eyes open. Her eyes look back on me. She moves slowly.

"Hey," I said softly.

She stared at me blankly. I smile warmly at her, hoping that would ease the tension.

"How are you feeling?" I ask her.

She swallows slowly and took her time to answer, "What...happened?"

"I will tell you later, but first, you need eat," I reply. I help her sit up. I place a pillow behind her back for support as she laid her head against the headboard.

I grab the tray and carefully set it on the bed. I grab the bowl and the spoon and stir the soup, mixing the cold air with the heat. I grab half a spoonful and blow away the heat. I move the spoon into her mouth, and she takes a bite, adjusting her taste buds.

Once I saw that she swallowed, I grab another half spoonful and fed her the soup. She looks at me for a moment, and I notice that she felt like there wasn't something right going on. I grab another half spoonful, but this time. She takes the spoon from me. She slowly spoke, "Liam...I got it from here." She placed her free hand on the bowl, but I decline.

"Ally, I got it," I reply. "You just woke up, and you need to rest still. Let me do it."

She shakes her slowly. "No, I have enough strength," She presses her hand against the bowl and lifts the bowl from my hands slowly. I resist letting her hold the bowl.

Her hands twitch, dropping the bowl in my hands as some spill out, burning her hand. "Ally!" I exclaim, setting the cup down and examine her hand.

There was a small red mark, but nothing too serious. The soup wasn't too hot to burn. I grab the napkin from the tray and wipe the fluid from her hands. "You can hardly pick the bowl up," I stare, causing her to look at me. "Please, let me feed you. I know you might hate me at this point, but I am not going to let it interfere with our relationship."
