All the vampires you have encountered even that statue Reiji, tend to smile creepily and mostly smirk like the predator they were to their prey. And him? He keeps his lips you so want to smile in a thin flat line. He keeps it shut, he keeps it silent. He never smiled, tried for that matter. Although Azusa made it clear that he's at his happiest every moment of his life with you, not once did he smiled. He would, in rare occassions but it's only for a brief moment, something that would disappear as instantly as it flashed. "Azusa," you tried to ask him one time, "Why is your smile always so brief?." It was silent for a while, the kind of silence only with him would make you comfortable. Then he finally looks at you, his eyes smiling for him. "Because... I'm... afraid.." he played with your fingers, eventually lacing it with his own. "I'm afraid... bad things... would... come if... I get... too happy," He had said, squeezing your hand tight. "Don't worry," You lay your head in his shoulder, "I'll smile with you when it happens." And Azusa smiled.
