Your POV

Oh Bucky. He  looks so tired all the time. I tried to ask him what was wrong, seeing that he talks to me more than everyone else, but he won't say anything.

I went to my room, which was right across the hall from his, putting on my PJs. I picked out a movie to watch when I heard screaming. I got up and ran to the source. Bucky.

I really didn't want to barge in, but he might be hurt. I ran in to find he wasn't in his bed. I began to panic until I heard him in the bathroom.

"Bucky, Bucky. I'm right here okay." I pulled his hair back and rubbed his back. He looked up.

"Y/n I really don't think you want to see me like this." He tried to laugh before throwing up again.

"It's not okay that you're feeling this way, but I'll be okay. Do you think you're good for now?"

"I think so."

"Here let's get you to bed." I walked him back to his bed. I tucked him in and put the trashcan beside him. Then I got in beside him.

"Is this because."

"It's because of the nightmares. They sometimes get so bad, that it makes me sick."

"Bucky, why didn't you tell me sooner?"

" I didn't want to worry you."

I rubbed his arm, "Tell me next time okay. I was worried."

"I'm sorry y/n."

"There's no need to be sorry. I'm worried because I care. I'm worried because I want you to be free of it all. Or as free from pain as possible. Now, try to go to sleep again, and I'll be right here with you."

"I can't ask you to do that. I don't want you to accidentally get hurt."

"Bucky, I don't care if I get hurt. I want you to actually get some sleep."

"I don't want to end up accidentally killing you."

"Please just stop. It's worth the risk because I care so much."

"Why?"

"Because I love you James that's why."

I kissed his forehead. "Now just be quiet and let me stay with you."

He smiled a little before closing his eyes. When I knew he'd be fine I fell asleep too, though from now on I'd try to make sure I could hear him if something was to happen to him again.
