Bucky Birthday

Everyone was helping you set up for your husband's 100th birthday surprise party. Steve was with Bucky making sure to keep him busy until you were ready.

Everything looked amazing and you were proud of your handy work and the help of all your friends who were more like family than anything.

You picked up the phone and dialed Steve.

"Hey Stevie."

"Hey. Are you returning my books to the library?" That was your code for can I bring Bucky back to your house?

"Yup."

"Okay talk later."

"Bye Steve."

While talking Bucky just looked curious but he pushed it aside.

Presently everyone was finding a place to hide to surprise Bucky. You were so excited to see the smile on his face.

You soon heard Steve's truck pull up into the driveway and you held your breath. You could hear Bucky unlock the door.

"Hey doll, I'm home. Doll?"

"Surprise!" Everyone jumped out of there hiding places and went to greet your husband of five years.

"Happy birthday Buckybear." You said as you kissed him gaining some awws and ewwws from some of the adults and children.

"Thank you everyone. For all of this."

"Hey we didn't do anything we just came here brought gifts and listened to your wife tell us what to do." Sam said laughing

"Well thanks for coming."

"Alright everyone we have food prepped lasagna, salad, and rolls, sweet tea, lemonade, and different infused waters and water. So let's all say the blessing, then let the Birthday boy go first then you can help yourselves."

You said the blessing then Bucky got his food.

"Y/n come on. You put all this together and your wife to the birthday boy go next."

"No I'm the host and I'll wait for everyone else."

"No you'll go next." Steve, Sam, and Clint said pushing you to get your food.

Soon everyone else got their food and you all ate the yummy goodness. Everyone got extras and soon all the main food was gone.

You, Nat, and Wanda put the dishes in the sink while you made everyone go sit in your huge living room. Then you got the girls to move Bucky's presents closer to him while you got his cake and put candles on them.

"Steve, can you help me carry Bucky's cake? I'll so clumsy, I might drop it otherwise eheh."

Steve nodded and ended up carrying it all on his own. You went to the living room so you could film Steve and everyone singing Bucky happy birthday.

He was just so happy. You went closer to him so you could get a better view of him blowing out his candles.

"I wish that one day y/n and I can start a family and whenever that time may be I'll be a great father."

Hearing this gained some awws and cries from some people in the room who knew what you'd been through. Ever since you were younger you would help in the children's church and you loved it. You were so good at it when you grew up you continued to help in the children's church in your new hometown. Then when you met Bucky, you started to bring him and let him help teach your class. It helped bring him back and watching you with those kids only made him want children of your own more and more as the days and years passed. When you got married you waited a year before trying to start a family unfortunately you never were able to and many nights you and Bucky would just stay in each other's arms crying and praying that when God was ready for you both to raise a child you'd both be prepared and to raise your child in a good environment where she, or he, or they would be taught about God and grow to be amazing people. Through this it brought everyone together to help you both go through this time. You had been thankful for all their help, but sometimes it still wasn't enough for either of you until you saw your church babies which lessened the pain but added on to it at the same time. But through all this time and everyone tearing up as you thought this you couldn't help but smile. Not only was this a surprise party for him but it was a surprise for everyone else. And Bucky saying that wish out loud made it a perfect time to lighten the mood.

"Bucky..."you said crying happy tears still filming and getting everyone else's faces in the shot.

"What's wrong doll?"

"Well... You know it's not good to say your wish out loud, otherwise it won't come true."

"I know doll... I just couldn't help it."

"Well you know what?"

"What?..."

"Lucky for you, you were already a daddy before you said it out loud."

"What?" everyone squealed.

"Surprise, I'm pregnant Bucky!"

"You're pregnant? I'm gonna be a daddy? We're starting a family?"

"Yes yes yes sweetie. We are."

Everyone came to you and Bucky saying congratulations and softly hugging you. Bucky was crying tears of joy and you got everyone's reactions on video.

The rest of the night was great. Bucky opened his presents some of which were shirts that said I'm gonna be a daddy ect. Then everyone other than you played party games. To finish it off you watched a movie that everyone would enjoy. Then everyone left to go to their own houses.

"Best birthday ever. Thanks for making me a daddy y/n."

Then he kneeled  down  and kissed your belly. He put his hand to it rubbing circles and patterns on it.

"Hey baby. This is your daddy speaking. I can't wait to see you. You have such a beautiful mom and we love you so very much. We've prayed for you so long and we will continue to pray for you for as long as we can. We think your a girl but either way we can't be happier. We love you baby." Then he kissed your belly one more time before you both fell asleep after such a wonderful day.
