You sat in the park enjoying the day. You were out in the open, but no one was in the park other than you. You were glad no one was here today because you knew he was coming for you.

Snow was beginning to fall, and you could see your breath when you exhaled. There wasn't any breeze, and the sun was covered by clouds.

"Snow is such a beautiful delicate thing. Don't you think?" You turned around looking at the man known as the Winter Soldier.

He didn't speak as you assumed, and you walked to him. "So... You're here to kill me?"

The soldier nodded, and his eyebrows went up. You assumed he thought you were supposed to be older, when you were quiet young at twenty- five.

"Well... You never know when your going to pass... I could go on before you got the chance to murder me. The point is that you should try to live life to the fullest. You aren't always promised tomorrow, which I suppose that tomorrow for me will actually be tomorrow. I think I've had a nice life, I would've liked to grow old. I would've liked to find someone and settle down, but life isn't fair. I know your under orders, but have you ever thought about things like that? Have you ever thought about running away? I guess they eventually would find you wouldn't they? I'm so sorry. What if I could help you. What if I could give you your freedom?"

The soldier lifted his eyebrows, and his eyes went wide.

You walked to him slowly, and you gently took off his mask. You dropped it to the ground and really looked at him. Then you touched his cheek. He gasped, for this was the first time he had pleasant contact with someone in decades.

"Let me help you get your freedom." You whispered.

"How?" He barely whispered in return.

"You just have to trust me. I know it's probably hard to do that, to trust, but your life should be your own, not Hydra's."

He didn't say anything.

"I won't force you to come with me, but I promise I'll do everything I can to help you. I know you read a file about me, but your organizations information if me is false. I'm not the file that you read. I work for that person, and my name is the same as the file. However, the information is not complete and not accurate. I can't tell you now, but I'll tell you anything you want to know as soon as we get to our destination." You placed your other hand on the other side of his cheek.

He looked confused, and his eyes furrowed. It almost seemed as if he were trying to fight an internal battle. Then he looked in your eyes. His own eyes grew soft.

"You promise?" He spoke.

"Yes I do." You nodded.

"You're so young. I never liked killing, especially people so young. Sometimes my mind happens to remember what I do is tragic and wrong. Then I can't remember, and everything is blurred. I have no control, but I do today. I need help, and I want freedom. Over the years, I've gotten good at reading people, and I can see that you're being honest with me. I hope I don't regret going with you wherever it is."

You smiled,"You won't. I promise you won't regret it."

His lips went up to the smallest of smiles, "I'm finally going to be free?"

You nodded smiling as well, "You're finally going to be free."

You were about to say something else when he pressed his lips to your own. You didnt get to think or respond because he had already pulled away.

"I'm sorry... I don't know why I did that. You're so beautiful, and I don't know why I did that."

You still had your hands on his cheeks and you rubbed his cheeks with your thumbs. "It's okay. I promise you didn't offend me at all. It was actually nice." You were about to take your hands off his cheeks when he put his hands over your own.

"You won't leave me will you?"

"No never." You whispered then you pecked his lips, "I promise. Now close your eyes."

He did as you said then you teleported the both of you to your home.

"Open your eyes." You whispered.

He opened his eyes and looked at his surroundings.

"This is my home, and it's now your home too. They won't find you here because there is a shield around my house; no one even knows this place exists. This is your safe place. I know you have questions, and I'll answer any questions you have."

"Thank you, but is it okay if I just rest for now?"

"Of course. Here, let me show you your room."

You took his hand and led him to a spare room. "It's not much, but it's a start."

Then you went and got him some clothes, "Here are some pyjamas. The bathroom is in right here in the room so... Yeah. If you need anything, I'll be in the living room."

"Thank you... What's your name? I realized I don't even know your name."

"I'm y/n."

"Y/n... You're my angel. I... I wish I knew my name... That way I could hear you say it." He frowned.

"What about Bucky?" You smiled.

Then you noticed he smiled as well, "Bucky... I... I like it."

"Bucky it is then. Get some rest." You squeezed his hand and kissed his cheek.

"Okay. I will... my angel." He whispered as you shut the door.

You knew things would get better. You were going to help get your husband back no matter what it would take, or how long it would take.

You just know that love conquers all.
