Costume

You were putting on the final accessories to your female Jack Skellington costume, when you heard an exaggerated sigh. You turned around and looked too see Bucky rolling his eyes.

"I can't believe I have to wear this." He looked down to his outfit.

"Hey I'm sorry you lost that arcade game, but you made a bet. I told you not to make a bet with Sam."

"I know." Bucky frowned.

You walked closer to him, and you really looked at him. "Wow. Sam was right, you look very similar to the actor that plays Jefferson."

"Y/n, we haven't even watched that show."

"I know. Sam just showed me a picture. Anyways. To be honest, I think you look good in the outfit." You smiled walking to him taking hold of his hand.

Bucky looked down shuffling on his feet as a faint smile appeared on his lips. "Thanks. I like your outfit too."

"Thank you Buckybear." Then you lifted up his chin so you could see his eyes. "Hey, everyone will probably be too busy to notice the outfit. They might look once, but that's it. I mean it is one of Tony's parties, but we won't stay long. You know I don't really like to stay at these parties long anyway."

"Thanks doll." He squeezed your hand and kissed your cheek.

You both proceed to go to Tony's party. Everyone seemed to be dressed up. Then Sam, who decided to dress up in his own uniform walked up to you both.

"Hey everybody, it's the real Jefferson." Sam yelled.

Thankfully no one heard him. He frowned while you smirked. "I mean he kinda looks like him, but did you think anyone would notice him at this party? Your bet was so good Sam. Bravo."

"Fine. It wasn't the best. Well, oh well. Have a good time you two." He rolled his eyes then laughed before walking elsewhere.

"See, that wasn't bad at all." You looked to Bucky.

"No, it wasn't. Sorry I made such a big deal out of it." Bucky embarrassingly laughed scratching the back of his neck.

"Don't say sorry Buck. You have nothing to be sorry about. Now let's forget about it and dance." You giggled pulling him through the crowd and on a balcony.

"Thanks for bringing me out here. I don't like the loud music or crowd much."

"You're welcome. I feel the same way."

You both began to dance, and Bucky was actually having a fun time. After a while, you both walked around trying to find your friends to talk with them. You also wanted to see what they were wearing.

Tony like Sam decided to wear his iron man suit, which didn't surprise you. Bruce dressed as Dr Emmett Brown from Back to the Future. Steve dressed as Jack, and Natasha dressed up as Rose from the Titanic. Clint dressed as his dog Lucky, and Lucky was dressed as Hawkeye.

You couldn't find everyone because there were so many people there. Eventually, you and Bucky couldn't handle the crowd, so you both went back to your floor.

"Doll, I really love your outfit. How about we hit the town and show it off?"

"Really?" Your eyes lit up as you took his hand.

"Sure thing. Just give me a minute."

You wondered what he was doing because he was taking more than a minute. You weren't one of those girlfriends that constantly asked what their boyfriend was doing. You just were a wonderer.

Then you heard Bucky's voice. "Ya ready doll?"

"Yes."

Then he walked out and you gasped.

"I don't always like costumes, but I know how much you wanted to dress in couples costumes. Then when I found out you were going to be a gender bent Jack Skellington, I got help from your friend who works in the fashion industry. She made the costume and got the wig. She showed me how to paint my face to look like Sally. This is what I was going to wear. I wanted to surprise you darlin." Bucky smiled walking to you.

He was a gender bent Sally with pants and a shirt. His whole outfit looked so great.

"Bucky, this is amazing and so sweet. Thank you." You hugged him, and he kissed the top of your head.

You pulled away, still holding his hand, and jumped up and down, "What're we waiting for? Come on Buckybear let's show off our costumes to random people trick or treating around the streets. Then we can eat at the diner."

"Gosh I love you." Bucky laughed squeezing your hand.

"I love you too Buckybear. Now let's wow some people."

You and Bucky just laughed as you made y'all's way to the main floor of the tower.
