I'm Scared: Part Five

"I just have this feeling." You nodded to him.

"You've always had those feelings, and you've always been right." He chucked rubbing your arms.

"Not always." You smiled.

"But most the time. You think we're going back the way we came here?"

"Likely... but if it's like it was when we got here, I'm assuming we'll end up back in the village."

"Will we still live in Wakanda? Or will we go... I dunno go back to Brooklyn? You know we really didn't get to have that honeymoon." Bucky sat up as he held your hand.

"How about... How about we wait until that time comes." You kissed him sweetly.

He pulled you back down and cuddled with you until you finally fell asleep. Unfortunately you woke up because you just couldn't stay asleep. You decided to just lie in Bucky's arms hoping you would eventually fall back asleep.

You must've finally fallen asleep because you woke up, and Bucky's space was empty. You got up feeling a bit dizzy. You found Bucky cooking breakfast, and Imani was helping him.

"Good morning doll." Bucky smiled.

You didn't reply.

"Are you okay?" He frowned.

"No... I'm really tired. I kept waking up last."

He walked to you giving you a hug. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"You were so peaceful."

"Next time tell me okay. How about you try to get some more rest?" He rubbed your back.

"How about I stay with you and Imani for a bit, and then I'll try to go back to sleep."

"You sure?" He kissed your forehead.

You only nodded as you went to sit at the island. Imani hugged you before going to the fridge to get some strawberries. You tried to keep your eyes from drooping as you watched them bond together.

You really never liked breakfast or smell of eggs. When they were done you kissed Bucky and hugged Imani as you went back to bed. You really hoped you would fall asleep.

You opened your eyes, and screamed in horror. There was a dead disfigured alien right beside you, and just seeing that caused you to vomit. You finally understood why Bucky had asked you to stay in the village. It was all too much. You vomited again wanting to get away from the alien. Thankfully you were beside the lake so you rinsed out your mouth.

"Y/n." You felt someone pick you up. You looked up to see Steve.

"Steve! You're okay." You smiled, but unfortunately the smile turned into a frown, "Where's Bucky, Imani, T'challa, and Shuri?"

"They're in the palace. I'm taking you back." He said as he began to walk with you in his arms.

"Bucky told me you didn't get much sleep lately. You can try to fall asleep now. Everything is okay. The enemy is dead."

"How... How many years?"

"Four." He looked down at you. He himself looked tired and worn out. "I told you, I'd see you again. Now how about you try to get some rest, and we'll tell you everything when we get back."

You woke up to feel fingers run through your hair.

"Hey doll." Bucky whispered.

You looked up to him slightly smiling, "Hey." You slightly whispered.
