I woke up a few hours, still wrapped up warmly in Sal's arms. It was so comforting laying here with him. Just us. I slowly turned around to be face to face with Sal, as he placed his hand on top of mine which rested on my hips.
"How are you feeling?" He asked me, sympathetically.
"Not great" i quietly replied, resting my head back on the pillow. I glanced down to Sals hand and saw his watch reading 12:03.
"You should get to work" i said to him.
"Im not leaving you. Especially not like this" Sal said to me, gently brushing some hair away from my face.
"But Sal.." i began.
"Im staying wether you'd like me to or not" Sal said to me warmly with a smile.
"Well its good i want you too then" i said with a smile. "So how did your date go last night?" I asked him.
"It didnt" Sal said. "It didnt go" he said with a laugh. "did you talk to Murray last night?" Sal randomly asked me.
"Yeah, why?" I replied, forgetting about what I had told Murr. I took my mind back to yesterday and remembered.
"Why? Has he told you something?" I asked.
"Nope. I was just wondered" Sal said, smirking to himself.

As we sat on the bed, watching a few films; Sals phone rang. He answered it.
"Hey Pete" he said. "Yep. I remember. Do i get a plus one?.. cool.. talk later, bye" Sal said, then hung up.
"Who was that?" I asked.
"Pete; our producer. He reminded me about his wedding next week. He said i got a plus one, so would you like to go with me?" Sal asked me with an adorable smile.
"Yeah.. if you want me too" I replied with a smile, attempting to hide my excitement. I was feeling slightly better now, but not as much as I would've liked to feel.
"Your parents could come" Sal said to me.
"To the wedding?" I asked. Sal nodded. "But they dont even know Pete" i pointed out, with a laugh.
"Neither do my parents; or Murrays and they're going. So maybe your parents could go and keep my parent company. They haven't seen each other in so long!" Sal explained. I thought about it and agreed.
"Yay, I get to take my best friend with me" Sal said, playfully nudging my arm.
'I wish we were so much more than best friends!..' I thought.
