Emily's POV
The next morning I woke up to a warm orange glow shining into the room. I sat up in bed, to see the tear drop stains on the pillow I was led on. I quickly got changed then went into Scarlett's room and picked her up.
I made my way downstairs to see Sal sound asleep on the sofa. I made my way into the kitchen and placed Scarlett in her high chair ad attempted to feed her some banana. She wasn't eating a thing.
"Please, for mummy" I whined. She began to cry, so I picked her up and tried to calm her down. Her crying woke Sal up. He came out into the kitchen.
"Come to dada" Sal said, taking Scarlett off me. I didn't say a word to Sal, so I picked up my bag and got the pram ready. I took Scarlett of him and placed her in the pram.
"Where are you going?" Sal asked me.
"Why do you care?" I said as I grabbed my keys. "If you must know, I'm going to visit my dad" I said to him.
"Can I come? I would like to know how he's doing" Sal said to me.
"Fine" I said. I waited for Sal to get ready then we walked to the hospital.

We didn't talk to each other for the whole journey. I didn't even look at him. When we got into the hospital, we walked straight into my dads room.
"Hi dad, are you okay?" I asked.
"I'm fine, what about you?" My dad asked glancing as Sal and back to me. I shook my head.
"So, Sal, what brings you here?" My Mum asked him. He placed his hand on my shoulder, which I soon brushed off.
"I'm.. here to see how he was doing" Sal said. He then lowered himself to my ear and whispered "can I talk you in private?" He asked.
I nodded.
"Can you look after Scarlett a sec?" I asked my parents which they both agreed.

Me and Sal walked outside and closed the door.
"What?" I asked him.
"I just wanted to tell you-" he began, until Q jumped up on him.
"Hey guys!" Q said. I weakly smiled at Q then walked back into the room
"Emily!" Sal begged then sighed.
"Wow! What's up with you two?" Q asked. Sal shook his head as he took a deep breath.
"We better go home" Sal suggested.
