"Is that.." I began.
"It's can't be!" Sal said, as he edged closer to the window, top of his nose touching the glass.
"It is... Graham and Tanya!" I said in surprise.
"I thought they lived in London?" Sal questioned.
"So did I" I said with a laugh. We grabbed the pram with Connor in, and Sal held onto Scarlett's hand as we walked across the street to say hello to Graham and Tanya. At first they didn't recognise us, but when they took a closer look they knew exactly who we were.
"Hey guys" Sal said.
"Hello" Tanya replied. "This must be Scarlett" she said as she waved to her. "And who's this chap?" She asked, looking over Connor.
"Connor, our son" I revealed.
"Wow! What are you doing here?" Graham asked.
"We've just bought the house opposite" Sal told them.
"That's amazing!" Graham said. "We've just moved here too" Graham explained.
"Why's that?" I asked.
"Tanya has a job in New York, and we needed a larger house" Graham told us.
"Why? It's only two of you" Sal said.
"Actually in about 6 weeks it'll be the three of us" Tanya told us, as her hand laid on her stomach.
"Are you pregnant?!" I asked.
"Yep. Baby number one" she said with a smile.
"Congratulations" I said.
"Emily, did you ever take that job offer? I had a word with the Brooklyn Publishers to offer you a job" Graham said with a smirk.
"I did... and I start on Monday as a co manager" I revealed.
"Congratulations!! And Sal, I imagine impractical jokers is doing well?!" Graham added.
"We are filming out next season this week" Sal replied.
"Well I suppose it's great news all round. We should go out to dinner to celebrate some time" Tanya said.
"Yeah we should. Maybe next weekend?" I suggested.
"Sounds great" we said in unison.Sal glanced at his watch and decided we should head back and begin to pack. Today was Saturday, and we had to be moved in by Monday. Therefore, we decided to head home and begin packing as soon as we could. Q, Murr and Joe were going to help drive down some things to our new house. But because Murr doesn't have a car, he was going to help pack.
So as soon as we got home, we packed up as many things as we could. We began with the living room. The guys came round and helped us help. Joes brother in law had a van we used to transfer furniture. We packed up all the cars we had and sent them down to our new house. Because it was half an hour to our new house, which meant we had to pack up the cars as much as we could.
By the time it was 8pm, we had finally moved all the boxes to our new house. We set up the bedrooms with just beds, because we needed to sleep there, but tomorrow we would spend time unpacking and decorating. We sent Scarlett and Connor to bed as we stayed downstairs on a few dining chairs with the guys.
"Thanks for helping us out" Sal said to them. "We know it was a pain" he said with a laugh.
"No problem" Joe replied.
"It will be strange having you both living further away" Q said, which instantly made me feel bad. Sal could sense this so he said
"I like it. A new adventure" he said as he nudged my arm, causing a smile to form on my face.
"It's a nice place" Murr added.
"It really is" Joe said with a smile. "And your not that far away. It won't effect filming, and it means Emily can peruse her career" Joe told me with a smile.Around 10pm the guys decided to head home. Me and Sal went into our bedroom and left the curtains open for our balcony door, so we could see outside. Sal laid a blanket on the creaking wooden floors. He led down and wrapped me up in his arms. We led on the floor staring outside to see the stars twinkling in the night sky.
"Our new adventure" he whispered to me, I could sense the smile in his face. Our new adventure...
