"I suppose I should get you some ice" I said, caressing over where his bruise was. "I am sorry Graham done that to you" I apologised.
"I deserved it" Sal said sorrowfully. "I should actually apologise to him" Sal said. Suddenly Graham walked around the corner with an ice pack.
"Sal, I'm sorry for what I've done. I was just so angry earlier, but I can see you make Emily happy and that's all that matters to me" Graham said to Sal, attempting to make amends.
"No, I'm sorry. I should never of treated you or Emily that way, and I apologise. No hard feelings?" Sal said in a hopeful voice.
"No hard feelings" Graham said, shaking his hand.
"So, Emily.. will you move back home with me?" Sal asked. I looked up to Graham to make sure he was okay with me going and he nodded eagerly.
"Definitely" I replied.As I had hardly anything with me, I decided to leave it at Grahams for tonight but to move back home with Sal. We decided to walk home, to enjoy the evening views of New York. Sal gripped tightly onto my hand as I rested my head on the top of his shoulder.
When we got home, we were exhausted. Therefore we decided to head straight to bed. I quickly got changed into my pyjamas and soon rolled into bed beside Sal. I laid there, face to face with Sal. He placed his arms around me, pulling me very close to him, our faces inches apart. The smell of his cologne lingered on him, as it hung onto the tip of my nose. His glistening green eyes were gently dropping as he fell asleep. His warm arms, hanging onto my back. His lips soon connecting to mine for one last kiss as they spoke a gentle "goodnight". His face rested as he fell into his gentle slumber, I took a moment to admire him. His messy curly hair, draping from his head onto his face, his closed peaceful eyes, his lips with a faded smile. I could only imagine what he was dreaming of, little glimmer of hopes rushing through me as I hoped he'd dream of me, just like I dream of him. I gently caressed his face, my fingers gliding across his beard. I placed a soft kiss onto his forehead, then buried my head onto his chest and soon fell asleep to the gentle sounds of his heart...
