We stood there for a moment, our foreheads leaning against each other, admiring the other.
"So..." Sal began. "What are we doing?" Sal asked.
"Standing here" I replied sarcastically.
"No.. in our.....relationship?" Sal said, with a chuckle. I leaned closer to Sal.
"I'd love to.." I began until Q ran up to us. Sal oddly let go of me and took a step back.
"Sorry guys" Q said, scratching his neck.
"No no, don't be. Me and Emily are just friends getting drinks" Sal,said and quickly ran off. I felt disheartened. Why did he say just friends. Was that his way of admitting we can only be friends?!
"Are you okay?" Q began. "I'm guessing Sal told you about Tanya" Q said to me with his hand on my shoulder.
"What about Tanya?" I asked concerned.
