After Graham had left, I sat in the dark office all alone, accompanied by my thoughts. I was completing my last bit of work, before I had to leave this office forever. Even though it was only a job, I felt like a big chapter of my life was coming to a close. I've been working in this office for ages, and now I'm finally leaving. I was doubtful of wether I made the right choice.
Of course I want to spend time with my children, and support Sal in his career, but I also wanted to peruse mine. There was no other way; therefore I know I have to leave. I signed off the computer and packed up the box filled with my things. I grabbed the framed picture of me, Sal, Q, Murr and Joe from high school. I smiled softly at it, reminiscing over the fin memories we had, then laid it gently on the top of the box. I grabbed my handbag and walked out of my office for the final time.

When I got home, I noticed it was unknowingly quiet. I walked in to see Sal asleep on the sofa. I could tell he was knackered recently, from filming, to coming home and looking after Scarlett whilst I've been in work.
I walked up to him and kissed his forehead lightly as he gently tossed and turned in his sleep as he slowly woke up.
"I'm home" I whispered to him. Sal slowly sat up.
"I must have fallen asleep, sorry" he chuckled.
"Maybe we should get some sleep, after all, your off on tour tomorrow" I reminded him.
"I don't wanna leave you, Scarlett and our new baby" Sal whined.
"We will always be here, waiting for you to come home" I sweetly to him.

The next morning I woke up, with the sun arising outside. I turned over to see Sal not in bed. I sat up, fairly confused. I slowly crept downstairs to see him sat at the table, writing something and put it in an envelope.
"Morning" I said as I walked closer to him.
"Morning" he said sheepishly.
"What's wrong?" I asked as I took a seat beside him.
"It's just-" he began. "It's just I'm going to miss everything. The first scan.." he cried.
"You were there for Scarlett's! It doesn't matter! You'll be here for the birth" I reassured him.
"I suppose" he said, cheering up. He glanced down at his watch and realised he had to leave in a few minutes. He stood up and hugged me ever so tightly. He held me in his arms, as my arms wrapped around him. My head rested on his chest as I felt one of his tears slip onto my head. I looked up to him as he planted a soft kiss onto my lips.
"I better get going" he whispered.
"I love you Sal Vulcano" I whispered, as his warm smile and his green eyes looked into mine.
"I'll be back before you know it" he reassured me, as he walked out of the door...
