The mysterious man came into the light. I was greeted by his sly smirk, jet black hair, and his stone hazel eyes staring into mine. He was dressed smartly in a suit and held his hand out for me to shake. I accepted with a confusing smile printed on my face.
"Yeah.. I'm Emily" I answered his earlier question. He nodded his head approvingly.
"I'm Graham" he revealed. "I'm your new co-worker" he said. He had a mysterious ora with him. Quite a mysterious person. He didn't say much, but each word had impact.
"Your replacing Tanya?" I asked. He nodded. "Let me show you around. This will be your desk" I told him, pointing towards the desk. "The meeting office is down the hall" I added. "That's pretty much it!" I said with a laugh.
"I have a question" he said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"What is it like working here?" He asked.
"Really good. I mean... I like it" I said with a nervous laugh. He nodded in a serious fashion which made me more nervous.
"I'll um, let you sort out your stuff and I'll get back to work" I said sitting in the desk opposite him. He emptied a few folders from his briefcase, then sat opposite me and began typing away. As I went to move the document in front of me, I accidentally tipped my coffee everywhere.
"Great!" I sarcastically muttered. I heard Graham quietly laugh to himself. I spilt coffee all over my top.
"Do you need any help?" Graham offered.
"It's fine" I said. Just as I finished my sentence, my mobile rang.
"Do you mind if I take this?" I asked Graham.
"No no.. go ahead" Graham replied, going back to work.

I saw it was Sal so I quickly answered.
"Hello" I said, with a hint of frustration.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Not really. I've just spilt hot coffee all over my top and I looked a mess!" I shouted, forgetting Graham was behind me. I heard him, laugh at me again quietly.
"Do you want me to drop round a shirt for you?" Sal offered.
"That would be amazing!" I replied, calming down.
"I'll be as quick as I can" Sal said, then hung up.

I sat back on the desk, realising how all the coffee has vanished from my desk. I looked up at Graham who had a warm smile
"I cleaned it up for you" he told me.
"Thank you" I said to him with a smile.

We both continued with our work, no words exchanged between us. Suddenly there was a knock at the door which startled both me and Graham. I got up and opened up the door to see Sal stood in the doorway with a new top for me and flowers.
"Come in" I said with a warm smile.
"I got your top, and you flowers for my favourite girl" Sal said, about to lean in for a kiss until I stepped back.
"This is my new colleague Graham!" I said, as a subtle way to tell Sal why I couldn't kiss him. He instantly got the message and quickly smiled at Graham. "I'll just get changed" I said, taking the top from Sal, walking into the bathrooms.

Sal stood up, gently whistling to fill the awkward silence between him and Graham.
"I'm Sal by the way" Sal spoke.
"I'm Graham" He replied.
"Good to meet you" Sal said. Graham silently nodded then continued with his work. Sal continued to whistle gaining a glare from Graham. They both let the air be filled with awkward silence. I finally walked back out with my new top on.
"Nice top" Graham said with a warm smile. Sal glared at him, as if he was jealous.
"My girlfriend always looks nice" Sal said, staring down at Graham, with Graham nodding to Sal's words.
"Thanks Graham" I said, glaring at Sal. Sal smiled at me and I couldn't help but smile back.
"I'll see you later babe" Sal said to me, kissing my cheek.
"Bye" I said.

Sal's POV
As I left Emily's office I couldn't help but feel bad vibes from Graham. It was probably just because I got overprotective over Emily. Good thing I can trust her...
