When we got home, Sal was just about to leave again as he had filming, and Scarlett was having a nap.
"I won't be home till 6pm" Sal informed me. I nodded without saying a word. "Bye" he said as he walked out.
I felt terrible. The problem with me and Sal arguing is that we both hold a grudge and we try to avoid admitting we are wrong. I knew we had taken this argument too far and I was genuinely sorry. I decided to make a dinner for when Sal comes home to say sorry for everything.

Later that night....
Scarlett was sound asleep and I had just laid the table for me and Sal. Soon after, I saw the headlights approaching the driveway. I quickly opened the door and waited for Sal. He came out of his car and walked up to the door to be met by me.
"Hello?" He asked, confused as to why I was stood there.
"Hello. I've.. made us dinner" I said.
"Oh" he said, slightly surprised. "Just us?" He asked.
"Yep. Scarlett is asleep and I wanted it to be just us" I explained.
"Sounds good" he said, as he walked through into the kitchen and sat at the table. I sat opposite him. I gave him a warm smile, and to my surprise he smiled back.
"So, how was filming?" I asked.
"Good. Murr, Q and Joe lost" Sal said with a laugh. "I was the only one who won" he said with a chuckle.
"My champion" I said with a smile.

After dinner, we just placed the dishes in the side, as I was plucking up the courage to talk to Sal about how I felt. I saw he was about to walk away, so I grabbed his hand to make him turn around to face me.
"Sal, I love you" I said. "I'm so sorry for everything I said. I never meant a word. Your a brilliant father and the most caring husband and the perfect friend. I can't bare to lose you" I said to him.
"Em, I love you so much more than you could ever imagine. I'm so sorry for everything I said and for not being supportive" he said. "Can you forgive me?" He asked.
"Can you forgive me?" I asked. He nodded with a smile at me. I leaned in close to him, as our foreheads resting against the other, the tips of our noses touching.
"I love you" I replied. I wrapped my hands around his neck, as he placed his hands on my waist. He pulled me in and planted a soft kiss on my lips.

Around 9pm, we decided to go to bed. I slumped down beside Sal.
"Your so beautiful" Sal told me with a smirk.
"Not as gorgeous as you" I said, as I gently kissed his cheek. We interlinked our fingers together, as we admired the other. I was lost in his glistening green eyes, as he started deeply into my ocean blue eyes. Sal gave me a warm smile which was brighter than all the northern lights. Me and Sal were each other's treasures- and I was going to keep him forever. Sal used his other hand to pull me close; as I rested my head on his chest. I soon drifted off to sleep with thought of Sal playing on my mind. I loved him so much more than he could ever imagine...
