Sal had arranged for Murr to look after Scarlett, whilst he took me down to the hospital. We were told to wait outside as he was having some tests done.
I felt this was all my fault. I was so wrapped up in my own business, that I never visited my dad even though I knew he wasn't well. I was just so busy with Scarlett and as Sal was on tour, I was on my own. I couldn't forgive myself.I slumped down on the turquoise chair, with my head buried in my hands.
"Babe, are you okay?" Sal asked me. I stormed off away from him, but he soon followed. "What's wrong?" Sal asked me, placing his hand on my shoulder, which I soon brushed off.
"Leave me alone!" I said to him. He knew I was hurting, so he didn't take it personally.
"What's wrong. You can tell me" he told me.
"This is all my fault!" I cried. Sal gave me a puzzled look. "I knew my dad was ill and I couldn't spare a minute to visit him!" I shouted.
"That's not your fault!" Sal told me.
"Your right. It's yours!" I shouted.
"Mine?!" Sal asked completely outraged.
"Yes yours! I was too busy looking after our child! You were out partying and couldn't even be bothered to ring or text!" I shouted at him.
"Well I'm sorry I didn't ring! Whenever I did you would complain about the lack of sleep you had!" He shouted back.
"I had a lack of sleep because our daughter couldn't sleep at night because she was missing her dad!" I said to him.
"At least one of you missed me" he sulked.
"How dare you! I would cry myself to sleep from missing you!" I shouted. "And honestly I have no idea why!" I said to him.
"Well...." Sal began. I could tell he was debating on whether to say what he was going to say. "It's a shame I can't say the same!" He shouted then stormed off. I heard him slam the door, and I was that mad I chased after him.
"How dare you!! Why are you with me then?? I've forgiven you for so much! That whole thing with Tanya!" I shouted.
"Have you though? You won't forgive her over it, yet you'll forgive me?! Seems to me like your using me!" Sal shouted.
"Just stop!" I said as I took a deep breath.
"I'm going home! I can't deal with you when your like this!" He shouted, as he walked off.
"So the one time I needed you, your gonna leave me?!" I asked. He didn't even reply, he just kept walking away.I didn't mean anything I said to Sal. I just felt so stressed out recently and I took it out on him. I tried ringing him a few times but he wouldn't answer. I made my way back into the hospital and sat beside my mum.
"Where's Sal?" She asked me.
"We had an argument" I revealed.
"Take my advice- sort it out and spend as much time with him as you can. I'd do anything to have another moment with your father" She told me. It made me think, we were being ridiculous and I knew I had to say sorry.
"Mum, he will be okay" I reassured her.
"Let's just hope so" she said to me, with tears running down her cheeks.
