Chapter 56

"What?! No Emily.. of course not!" Sal said to me, running up to me holding my hand. I threw my arms back, releasing my hand from his grip.
"Then where are you going? And why are you always lying to me about where your going?!" I shouted.
"Emily... I can't say" Sal said to me, trying to reach for my hand.
"Either tell me, or I'm leaving you!" I shouted.
"Fine" Sal said with a smile. Sal grabbed his tie and blindfolded me.
"Sal?" I asked with a laugh, not being able to stay mad anymore. He gently kiss my cheek and held my hand and led me somewhere.

He drove us somewhere, and I couldn't see a thing. He soon parked and led me outside of the car.
"Sal? Where are we??" I asked with a giggle as his beard soon tickled my shoulders and neck, as he led his head on my shoulders.
"Almost there" he whispered. I heard the slamming of a door and Sal told me to stand still.
"Where are we??" I asked. Sal soon took the blindfold off me as I soon opened my eyes to see an empty house.
"Why are we in a house?" I asked him.
"Correction. Why are we in our house" Sal told me with a smirk. I turned around to face him.
"What?" I asked with a smile.
"Don't be mad" he began. "I bought this house for us. I've been disappearing to go to house viewing and to buy the house" he revealed.
"This is so awesome! But why? We already have a house!" I said to him with a smile.
"Yeah, but it didn't have enough room for a baby. I chose a 3 bedroom house. One for us, one for our baby, and the other as a spare room" Sal explained. He grabbed my hand and led me upstairs.
Sal led me into one of the rooms.
"I thought, the crib could go here" he said pointing to one corner. "Maybe a toy chest here" he said. "And maybe a rocking chair so whenever we have to get him or her asleep we could rock them back and forth" Sal said. I completely ignored what he was saying and just saw the excitement on his face. I just walked up to him and planted a soft kiss on his lips.
"What was that for?" He asked me.
"I just.... love you so much. I was so worried you'd be scared and run off- but you have been more enthusiastic than I could ever imagine. And for that Sal Vulcano... I love you" I said to him with a warm smile.
"You only love me for that?" He joked. "I love you so much. Not just for being you, but you have given me a family, and that's all I've ever wanted. A family with you" Sal softly said, planting another kiss to my lips.
