After 9am, Sal was getting ready for work when I looked over some of the plans he had made for the wedding. I saw he had wrote down a few dates already for the wedding and I took a look. He seemed to have circled 1st October so many times and made that the first choice.
At that moment he ran downstairs and grabbed the papers from my hand.
"Hey" he said as he snatched them.
"Sorry" I said with a smirk. "Is there anything I can do to help with the planning?" I asked.
"Nope" he said. He placed his hands on my cheeks and pulled me in for a deep kiss. Then the door knocked; it was Murr to pick up Sal.
"Don't go" I whined.
"I have to. But we are only planning a punishment so it shouldn't be long" Sal explained as he opened the door.
"Fine, but be back soon" I said.
"Bye babe" he said as he kissed my forehead and went off to work.
"Bye Emily" Murr said as I waved to them both..
As soon as they left I sat down and watched some tv whilst Sal was gone. It felt really strange here without him and actually made me think how much I want to be married now. I didn't want to wait till next year, I wanted to be married now. I decided to go onto the laptop, which was opened onto 'wedding venues'.
I clicked on 'when would you like to get married?'. I typed as soon as possible and pressed enter. The soonest one they had was 27th January, which was one month exactly from now. I pressed onto 'more details' and read the description.
'Get married in the most exotic, romantic destination in New York. You and your loved one can marry on the rooftops at sunset with fairy lights surrounding you. Afterwards, you and your newly wed can enjoy a nights stay in our hotels, free of charge. You will be placed in our honeymoon suites, enjoying everything from our 5 star hotels'
'That sounds perfect!" I thought to myself.I quickly grabbed my phone and tried to ring Sal but he wouldn't answer. Then I rang Murr and he picked up I could hear him and Sal laughing hysterically.
"Hey Emily. What's up?" Murr asked.
"Not much. Is Sal there with you??" I asked.
"Yep. Do you wanna talk to him?" Murr asked.
"Please" I said. He handed the phone to Sal. "Babe, I know you wanted to plan the wedding, but.." I began.
"What is it Em" Sal asked with a laugh.
"I found a beautiful venue..." I began.
"Available dates?? Next year?" Sal asked.
"Technically its next year" I smartly said.
"What does that mean?' He asked suspiciously.
"Well... I found this beautiful place and.." I began.
"Just say it Em" Sal said with a laugh.
"Next month" I blurted out.
"As in.." he began.
"As in 26th January" I interrupted. "If it's too soon just say. I just want to be married to you as soon as I can. I don't want a big fuss or a big fancy wedding. As longs as your there... that's all that matters" I said.
"Book it" he said. "I don't want to wait for years and years until we're married, I want to be married as soon as I can. So.. if you wanna, let's get married in a month" Sal said to me, and I could tell he had a smile on his face.
"A month it is!" I exclaimed with a smile.
