I jumped through all the puddles on the ground and chased after him. The heavy rain was pouring over me, but I powered through. I got to the train station and saw Sal about to leave. I ran even faster. I forcefully turned him around to face me and pulled him in for a kiss, with the rain surrounding us.
"What are you doing here?" Sal asked with a smile.
"I couldn't let you go without saying goodbye" I replied.
Q nudged Sal's arm telling him its time to get going.
"I'll miss you" Sal said as he trailed off in the rain.
"I love you" I said weakly.*****
When I got home, after picking the kids up, I made tea for us. However there was a knock at the door. It was Tanya, Graham and their baby girl Katie.
"What are you doing here?" I asked them with a smile.
"We have some news. Is Sal here??" Tanya asked.
"He's on tour. Why?" I asked.
"We would like to ask.. if you and Sal would like to be the godparents of Katie?" They asked.
"Of course!!" I squealed. After they left and the kids were in bed I decided to ring Sal.
"Hello" I began. "How's touring?" I asked.
"Not great. How are you?" Sal asked.
"I'm good. Me and You and godparents of Katie" I revealed.
"That's amazing" Sal said.
"Where are you? It's sounds like it's raining" I said.
"Because I'm stood outside" Sal said.
"Of where?" I asked.
"Open the front door".I slowly walked over to the front door and opened it widely. Stood there was a soaking wet Sal in the rain with a smile. I ran up to him and hugged him.
"I love you so much Emily" Sal exclaimed.
"No where near as much as I love you" I replied.
