Me and Sal turned to each other, as our attention was drawn back to Tanya.
"Guys?" Graham said to me and Sal.
"Uh yeah?" I said, still in shock.
"So this is Tanya" Graham repeated. "Emily- didn't you work with her?" Graham asked me.
"Yeah..but that was ages ago" I said, glaring at her.
"Well, we best be off" Graham said, sensing some tension.
Sal nudged my arm and gave me the 'tell him' eyes.
"Graham can I talk to you alone a sec?" I asked. Tanya strolled off whilst me and Sal were stood in front of Graham.
"Look-" I began.
"Isn't she lovely!" Graham said. "I'm so in love. She's amazing and so funny. Emily, I've never felt this way since my late wife" He told me. This made it even more heartbreaking to tell him.
"Look Graham" I began.
"We just wanted to say how happy we are for you!" Sal interrupted. I turned to him confused. "That's it! Actually, we should get going, but you and Tanya should pop over one day" Sal said, and pushed me away."What was all that about? You wanted me to tell him!" I said to Sal.
"Look, he's happy. And I know exactly how he feels because, I feel the same about you" Sal told me with a smile.
"I love you, Sal" I said, completely ignoring what he was saying.
"What?" He asked with a smile, lightly blushing.
"It's just.. your perfect. You care so much for me and Scarlett and I can't even put into words about how much I love you" I said to him, using my free hand to pull his neck close to mine. I planted a soft kiss on his lips, letting my smile print onto his face.
"Let's go home and watch a film" Sal said to me. "With my perfect little family" he added with a smile.
