Pagkatapos ng klase ay hinintay ko si Papa na sunduin niya ako para dumalaw kay Mama. Araw-araw siyang pumupunta sa kinaroroonan nito.

Kasama ko ngayon si Luke sa waiting area.

"I still can't believe that you've finally transformed to the real you."

"OA! But thanks for accepting me for who I really am."

"Of course! Who's not gonna accept the most beautiful girl here in the campus? When I say beautiful, it defines you my friend. In and out."

"Thank you."

"I'm just so lucky that I was the first one to witness your change."

"Heyyy don't make me uncomfortable."

Nako-conscious na ako sa mga pinagsasabi nito. Di pa rin ako komportable sa itsura ko.

And I don't like the attention that other people are giving me because of this change.

"Don't be. I'll be your prince that will protect you, my friend... coz I know a lot of guys now will surely wanna get your attention. Have you seen our classmates' eyes a while ago? If I was your boyfriend, for sure I'd be in trouble."

Maya-maya pa ay dumating na si Papa.

"Papa!"

"Hey pretty lady! How's your day? Oh you're with your boyfriend."

"Hi Sir!"

"Call me Tito Blake or Tito is fine. So are you going with us? We're gonna visit her mom."

"Ahm Papa, no. He's not coming with us."

"Does he know?" tanong ni Papa sa akin.

"He knows all my secrets Papa."

"Good."

"Promise some other time, I'll go visit your mom Chikko... it's just that my mom is waiting for me now in my condo."

"No worries, Luke. There'll be next time."

"Yes, Tito. Anyway I'll go ahead. Nice to see you, again. Take care."

"Same here. Bye!"

"Bye Chikko! See you tomorrow!"

"Bye, Luke!"

Pinuntahan na namin si Mama sa clinic.

"You know baby, for sure your mom will be happy to see your change."

Napangiti ako. Sana nga magustuhan ni Mama at makatulong sa paggaling niya.

Nasalubong namin ang doktor nang pumasok kami sa room ni Mama.

"She's doing good, Mr Thompson. She seldom loses her anger now and just stays quiet in her room."

Happiness on Papa's face is apparent.

We thanked the doctor and went to Mama.

Nagulat siya nang pumasok kami. Nagulat siya bigla at tila kinikilala kami.

"Baby?"

"Ako po ito, Mama. Pangit po ba?"

"Ang ganda mo anak! Salamat at nagbago na itsura mo. Akala ko matutuluyan ka na sa pagiging tomboy."

"Salamat po at nagustuhan ninyo."

Nilapitan naman siya ni Papa at inakbayan. Himalang hindi siya tumutol.
