it was my first day of college and i was nervous, i was in the car with my best friend lily, "what are you mostly excited for?" i ask lily taking a bite from my granola bar
she stops the car at a red light, "the parties" she smiles, i'm not really a party type of person
"do you think we'll see any cute boys?" lily ask me, she parks the car at the college i take a deep breath, "i don't know or care" i smile
we get out the car and she opens the trunk, i grab my backpack that was filled with clothes and a truffle bag filled with more clothes
she closed the trunk and we start walking to the main office, "can't wait to be roomies" she nudges my shoulder
"you better not have guys around lil"
she groans, "you're such a prude"
"i am not a prude" i slap her shoulder playfully
she rolls her eyes, "i bet you're the only virgin at this college"
"sorry i don't put my self out as a sex toy" i open the door, we walk in and saw a lady sitting behind a desk, "lost?" she laughs
i smile "no, we just need the keys to our dorm"
"name?" she ask me
"kelsey davis"
she looks down her list and hands me the keys, "room B40" she smiles, "how about you" she ask lily
"lily smith"
"room B42" she gives the key to lily
i furrow my eyebrows, "i think you got something wrong, we're suppose to have the same dorm" i look at the lady
"nope" she looks at her list
"it's fine" lily pulls me out the office, "it's not fine i'm not about to share a room with a stranger" i protest
"it'll be fun we can make new friends" she says
we walk to the dorms, "plus we're right next to each other" she does have a point
we go to lily's room first, she opens it and there was a girl on her bed "hi you must be lily" she gets up and walks to lily
"yes i am" lily smiles
"i'm sophia" she puts her hand out, "and you...?" sophia looks at me
"oh im kels" i smile and shake her hand, lily looks at me, "you should go to your dorm now" lily says
"your not coming with me?"
"um no" she says "i'm tired it was a 4 hour drive i'll come to your dorm in 10 minutes"
"uhm, okay" i walk out her dorm and she closes the door in my face, that was weird
