2 days till our exam.

when i sit up from my bed i feel something press against my chest. i lay back down and close my eyes

all i could think about was joey. i feel like i can feel his presence here. my breathing gets heavy when i think about how close our faces use to be whenever we laid down in bed

or when he would get drunk and needed to sleep with me because he couldn't sleep alone which seems sketch to me but i liked it. i liked being close to him and sleeping on the same bed

he was the reason my days would get better, he was my umbrella in the rain, he was the reason cold days starting feeling a bit warmer. he was the reason for my smile, always.

i take a deep breath and control myself. i sit up from my bed and put on my leggings and hoodie. i've been wearing a hoodie this entire week, all black but today i'm wearing a blue one.

it's cold outside and the floor is wet when i walk out the building but it's good enough to get a coffee and sit outside to study

i text jenny to make me a coffee when i get there so i don't need to wait in the line

jenny has been so sweet to me, i wonder if she knows that me and joey have done it... she's always warned me to not get attached to him and that's exactly what i did. i broke girl code

jenny's found a new boyfriend and i hope she won't be mad if she ever finds out about me and joey. she's been understanding lately and i love her for that

she was my friend when i didn't one. i always thought so badly of her because of the way she talked about joey but i now get why she felt like that

i open the cafe door and see jenny behind the counter taking someone's order. she sends me a smile and takes out a cup of coffee

"good morning kels!" she hands me my cup

"good morning jen, thank you" i give her 5 dollars for the coffee

"it's on me" she gives me the money back and i smile at her

"thank you again"

"of course, i'm getting off in a couple hours would you want to hang later?" she ask

"i would love too" i tell her

"okay i'll text you then" she says and i nod, i give her a tip before leaving the cafe and walking to the tables

i sit at a table by the library, the library has the best wifi, better then the ones at the dorms

i open my laptop and take a sip from my coffee, i reread all the notes i highlighted and write down key notes

"hey beautiful" a guy sits down next to me

i look up at him, "do i know you?"

he chuckles, "no but i thought you are very beautiful and i wanted to come tell you" he puts his hand on my hand

i pull my hand away from him, "thank you"

he continues to stare at me and i look back at my computer, "do you want to get out of here?" he ask and i choke on my coffee

"what? no" i answer

"come on it'll be fun" he grabs my hand and i pull away

"no i'm sorry" i tell him

"come on beautiful" he tucks a piece of my hair behind my ear and i stare at him

"will you stop touching me" i press my lips together
