"jacob!" i scream
he laughs and puts me down, "i missed you"
"i missed you too" i hug him again
"can we please go on the ferris wheel?" he pouts
"yes!" i smile and he pulls me
we decided to go to the pier together, the pier is so much fun when you're with the right person
we are seated right away and jacob smiles, "i haven't been here in so long"
"i come here like every week now" i admit
"really? i'm so far now" he sighs
"how's WSC?" i ask him
"great, the parties and bonfires are," he kisses his fingers
i laugh, "those were really fun"
my phone starts to ring and i take it out, jaden is spamming my phone
jaden:
where are you?
call me
actually no face time me
are you with jacob?
answer me or i'm coming to pick you up
come home babe
i sigh and facetime him, he answers after the third ring and his face appears on my phone, i immediately show jacob
"is that-"
"yes it's jacob" i say before he can finish the sentence
"when are you coming home?" he ask
"i don't know?"
"alright just call me when you guys are done" jaden ends the call and i put my phone away
"why is he so worried?" he ask
"i don't know, hes been like this for a while now" i frown
"is he being controlling?"
"no, he's not but he won't let me see anyone anymore"
"like who?" he ask
"he didn't let me see you yesterday and he told me to stop talking to joey, it doesn't make sense"
jacob nods slowly, "that's a red flag"
the ride was over and we both walk out and go and get some ice cream
"did you hear about joeys wedding?" i ask jacob
"i did, i didn't want to bring it up" he says
"why? you thought it would make me upset?" i laugh
"to be honest, yea"
i nod, "i mean i am upset about it, he has a whole kid too"
"he has a kid?" his eyes widen
"almost, she's due in 5 months" i bite my bottom lip
"emily? gosh she's so... not his type, they are both two whole different people" jacob pays for our ice cream and i thank him
"yea but she's beautiful jacob, i don't blame him"
we start walking on the beach, it was only 4pm so it wasn't so hot
"so what? he fell for her looks, i mean what does she have that you don't?" he chuckles
