part 29

i take a deep breath and stand from the bed and walk to the bathroom to brush my teeth, i should be going to sleep now

joey hasn't came back in 2 hours and there really isn't any point in waiting, i stare at myself in the mirror and literally cant believe how stupid waiting for him

i have an issue and i need to figure out how to get him out of mind

i rinse my mouth and tie my hair up, i wipe my mouth and turn off the bathroom light

i look at joeys table and get a bit curious of what he kicked under there. i bend down and put my hand under and grab a chain

i pull it out and notice it's one of my necklaces, the necklace my dad gave me.

i put it back in my jewelry box and lay down on my bed. i've found myself sleeping a lot recently and waking up really late

sleeping is the only thing that gets my mind off him and i wish i could just sleep forever

i wake up to lily in the room and the sound of her chewing like a damn donkey

i take a clearer look at her and she's eating a salad, i look around the room and joey wasn't anywhere

"can i help you?" i tell lily

she turns around and looks at me, "oh hey" she smiles

i sit up and look at her, this is really the girl joey likes? i cant believe it

i look down at the floor, my head completely blank. i feel lily's eyes on me

i hear the door open, lily and i both turn our head and joey walks in

i look away to make it look like i don't care that he's here, "guess what babe" he tells lily

i grab my phone from the night stand and lay back on my headboard

"what?" she smiles

"there's a party tonight at the frat house and we're going" he smiles at her

"do you have any with you for tonight?" she bites her lip while looking at him

"always babe" he kisses her cheek and sits down on his bed

"you should come" lily says

joey turns and looks at me, "i didn't know you were here" he says to me

yeah, cause i'm completely invisible to you

"no thanks" i tell lily and she frowns

"you should come... with us! right joey" she kicks him and he looks back at me

"only if she wants, you told me she isn't the party type remember?" he furrows his brows at her

so now he's listening to her all the sudden, "i mean she's changed a lot" lily answers him

"yeah i have" i say, not allowing him to say anything more

"so you coming?" lily grins

"yes" i say

lily smiles and looks at joey, "okay well i have to go" she stands up and so does he

"bye" she says

"bye" he says and kisses her
