also i would like to apologize for being so inactive, my mental health is very important to me and i just hate being on my phone all the time so i take time off, but i'm back!
"it's too early"
"it's 6pm" jacob sighs "come on, i'm bringing people over" he grabs my arm and lifts me from the couch
"who" i groan
"lily, and some of my other friends" he says
the door opens and lily walks in, she has her hair down with her dark sunglasses on as if it's sunny outside. she takes off her black fur coat and hangs it, "i'm here"
i roll my eyes and look at jacob, "why is she wearing sunglasses?"
he looks at lily, "shes a little slow"
"i heard that" lily takes the glasses off and puts them on the table, "so how are we doing this"
"we're waiting for my friends to come" jacob tells her
"your friends?" lily furrows her brows, "why your friends?"
"because they can help. they helped us with ours remember?" jacob sighs
lily presses her lips together, "no"
"if you want you can invite your friends too kelsey" jacob suggests
lily laughs, "that's funny! except she has no friends"
"lil-" jacob gets interrupted by lily
"shh, are you gonna invite jenny? what about your hot ex? what was his name... jack?" she winks
"there is no way i'm inviting jack" i cross my arms
"why not?" she stands next to jacob
"because, i haven't talked to him in a while and it'll be awkward" i say
she rolls her eyes, "well then ms. no friends. i'll be inviting my friends as well"
"no way!" jacob says
"why not? you can invite yours but i can't invite mine?" she raises a brow
"your friends don't even know the ABC's how are you going to let them help us set lights up on the roof" jacob says and i hold in my laugh
she takes her phone out and with one click she smiles and looks up at us, "they're on there way"
jacob rolls his eyes and looks at me, "sorry"
"it's fine" i tell him
"so where are the decorations?" lily ask
"in the garage" i tell her
i open the garage door and turn on the lights. i point to the supplies and jacob runs towards it
"your dad is really organized" he takes the box
i open the door that leads to the front of the house, "yes he is"
i grab a box and follow jacob to the front house and put the box down
we hear a squeal and turn around to see a group of girls running to lily
"gosh they are so annoying. its not too late to kick them out" jacob tells me
i laugh, "i don't want to be rude"
we take the lights out the box and start deciding how we are going to put them up
i feel a tap on my shoulder and i turn around to see a girl with a box in her hand, "hi i'm ellie"
"i'm kels" i smile
