part 20

i watch him walk away from me, i scoff and walk back inside the class. i grab my stuff and shove them in my bag, "what are you doing?" soph grabs my wrist and i look up at her

"leaving" i sigh

"why?" she frowns

"i don't want to be here" i say and walk out the class, i tie my hair up and start making my way to the dorms hoping that kaylee isn't there

i cross my arms as i pass by a whole bunch of people eating by the table. i keep my head down and not look at anyone

it has to be lily who gave him that hickey, he left me to hang with her and

"kelsey davis" someone interrupts my thoughts, i turn around and see a lady in yellow running towards me, holding her glasses in her hand so they don't fall out. she catches her breath when she stands in front of me

"sorry" she takes a deep breath and hands me a paper, i open it up and it says i'm moving back to my old dorm, "what is this" i look up at her

"kaylee said that there was some issues between you two and we didn't have any dorms available except the one you use to be in" she puts her glasses on

"why would you send me back to a dorm that i switched out of for a reason?" this seriously doesn't make any sense, i am not going back to that dorm, nothing is going to make me. i'm staying in kaylees dorm

"i'm sorry but we don't have any other-"

"ugh" i interrupt her and crumble the paper in front of her, "i'll just sleep in the streets" i throw the paper on the floor and walk away from her, not caring how rude i was being

i go straight to the dorms and walk into the dorm just to see all my stuff is packed on the bed, kaylee left a note on my bed. i pick it up and open it "sorry but trevor is my new roomie plus i heard you and joey got along!"

i throw the paper on the floor and sit on the bed running my hand through my hair thinking of what i'm going to do. i check my phone and there is still a few more hours of class which means i can't ask sophia to help me right now

i look around the room and notice she actually put all my stuff away, it's taking a lot in me to not rip up her billie eilish poster

"please" i look at soph

"fine" she smiles and grabs my stuff from my hand

"thank you" i close the door behind me and sit down on lily's bed

"so are you going to tell me why you stormed out of class today?" she takes my clothes out my bag and neatly puts them in her new drawers

does sophia even know about me and joey? it's probably stupid to even say it out loud and embarrassing myself when she's literally his brother

"joey and i got in a fight" i say, she turns her head to me and nods slowly

"why? about what?" she tucks a piece of her hair behind her ear to hear me better. does she know something?

"well he left me yesterday to hang with lily and i see him today with a hickey on his neck"

she stops what she's doing and looks at me again, "do you and joey have a thing?" she ask

"i- no, i don't know" i admit, i thought we did but than again this is all just a stupid game to him

"lily gave him the hickey yesterday, they both got drunk and went to joeys dorm right after" she says without making eye contact with me, i feel my heart drop to the floor
