joey holds open the door for me when we enter the restaurant, i turn to him "thank you"

he smiles and pecks my lips, i turn back around and we are immediately seated. joey looks over his menu as i wait for the waiter since i already know what i'm ordering

"should i get chicken with mash potatoes or spaghetti and breadsticks?" he ask me

"chicken and mash potatoes" i answer, we give our order to the waiter as well as our menus

"so do you-" my eye goes immediately to sophia who walked into the restaurant with lily by her side. my eyebrows raise and joey notices

he turns around as well and then looks back at me, "did you invite them?" he ask me, his eyes still on them as they walk to there booth

sophia looks at me and whispers something to lily, i look away. what is she doing here with lily? lily out of all people.

should i be upset? i mean they're friends as well. joey holds my hand "stop worrying about it"

i look at him, "i'm not worried"

after the dinner we went back to the dorms, i didn't want to tell joey why i wanted to leave early. lily kept side eyeing him which made me uncomfortable

she probably hates me so much right now, i'm surprised she hasn't jumped on me yet

"you really ruined our date" joey says when i sit down on the bed

my eyes widen at his words, "w-what?"

"you were so worried about lily being there, i noticed you wanted to leave early" he takes his shirt off, "it wasn't even that big of a deal"

he continues, "i just wanted to go out with you and you were so worried about her it ruined our date"

he's mad at me, he runs his hand through his hair and doesn't bother to look at me

"i'm sorry"

a small chuckle escapes his mouth when he takes his necklace off, "not enough" i hear him say

not enough?

"excuse me?" i stand from the bed and cross my arms, he doesn't say anything nor look my direction

"a sorry isn't a enough" he says a little louder and my jaw drops

"says you." i roll my eyes

he finally looks at me, "what does that mean?"

"i'm sorry i wanted to leave early but how do you think it makes me feel when the girl you went back to every time you hurt me was there?" i say

"you went back to every time you hurt me" i repeat, "and i hate to admit it but i may be insecure that you will go back to her because you always do"

"are you kidding me kelsey? i told you i don't have any feelings towards lily anymore and it was only to get my mind off you" he says

"i know but it still hurt me, i still cried and felt my heart break. so i would appreciate it if you don't make me feel bad for not wanting to be around her, especially when she walked in on us making out a few hours ago" i sit back on the bed

"fuck kelsey, who cares if she was there?"

"me! i care" i sigh

"then stop caring so much it's so stupid"
