Six weeks later.
July 27th.
"Jessica, did Mr. Davy make it to his two o'clock appointment?" One of Jessica's coworkers asks.
"... Jessica?"
"Hm? Oh, I'm so sorry! I uh.. yes, yes he did."
"Okay, thanks! Are you okay?"
"I have a horrible migraine today.. but I'm fine."
"Did you take anything?"
"Oh uh, yeah. Yeah, I took something a while ago."
"Well I hope it kicks in soon, honey." She rubs her back.
"Yeah, me too.."
Jessica has felt off the past few days. She was pretty positive she knew the reason why.
It is now the end of yet another long work day. Jessica stood around avoiding front the door. Her friend Chloe noticed and asked what was wrong.
"You okay? Do you need something?"
"No I just um.." Jessica sighs.
"Jessica, what is it? You've been acting weird all day."
"Uh... Nothing..."
"Sit. Talk to me."
Jessica sits down and sighs once again.
"What's up?"
"I think I'm pregnant." Jessica blurts out.
"What?!" Chloe's eyes widen.
"Pregnant?!"
"I think so."
"With Daniel Huston's baby?!"
"Yes."
"You mean pregnant with Daniel Huston's baby?!"
"Oh Chloe! YES!" Jessica says getting slightly irritated.
"Oh my gosh, well let's go test you!"
"Now?!"
"We're in a doctors office, bitch! Let's go!"
"You're not a doctor.. you're not a nurse either.."
"There are pregnancy tests in the back, you dingus! Now come on!"
"Okay.." Jessica said in a scared voice.
Jessica was not expecting this at all. Yes, she and Danny weren't exactly carful but, she was still in shock.

After Jessica took the pregnancy test she was too nervous to see the results.
"I can't Chloe, will you just tell me?" Jessica says walking away from the test.
Chloe looks down and sighs. "It's negative, Jess."
"Oh!
..It's is?" Jessica was surprised. She was sure she was pregnant.
"Yeah."
"Oh.. well.. well okay then.."
"That's what you wanted, right? You seemed scared."
"Well yeah.. yeah, I was.. this is.. this is for the best." Jessica nods.
"I mean, Daniel and I just started dating, and.. and we haven't discussed our plans— It's negative? Are you sure?" Jessica felt it in her gut that she was pregnant.
"No, it's positive." Chloe says with a blank expression.
Jessica's eyes slightly widened.
"What?" She asks.
"It's not negative. It's positive."
"Why did you say it was negative?"
"Because now you know for sure how you really feel about it. Were you not upset before?"
Jessica scratches her ear and pauses.
"..Well yeah, I was upset."
"I could tell." Chloe smiles. "Congratulations!"
Jessica chuckles. "Are you sure?!" She slightly raises her voice.
"Yeah Jess, I lied before!"
"Oh my gosh.. Danny and I are gonna have a baby." Jessica smiles.
"Yes you are." Chloe smiles.
"I'm having a baby!" Jessica cheers, running over to hug her friend.

Two weeks later.
Jessica has since gone to her own doctor to make sure every was okay with the baby.
She is now eight weeks pregnant, and morning sickness has definitely kicked in.
Today Jessica is telling Danny she's pregnant.
Autumn is with Sam for the weekend, so Jessica invited Danny over for a little romantic weekend.
She cooked his favorite, and decorated the backyard with a few lights. Candles were out on the table, and there was a nice breeze in the air. Everything was perfect.
When Danny arrived, Jessica went up on the balls of her feet and greeted him with a big kiss.
"Mmm.." Danny moaned into her lips.
"That was nice." He smiles.
Jessica giggles and takes his hand. She then guides him outside where they will be having dinner.
"What's all this babe?"
"I wanted tonight to be special." She smiles.
"Aw, you're cute." Danny chuckles.

"Mmmm! Man, that was delicious! You know how to keep your man happy, baby." Danny says making her laugh.
"You're silly."
Danny smiles.
"Danny.. I have something to tell you."
"What is it, babe?"
Jessica smiles and reaches across the table to take his hand in both of hers.
"Baby.. you and I.. Heh! We're going to have a baby."
"A what?"
"A baby! I found out two weeks ago, I'm two months." Jessica's smile was glowing.
Danny quickly pulled his hands away and stood up.
"What do you mean you're having a baby? You're pregnant?!"
"Yes, silly!" Jessica giggled.
"This isn't possible. How did you let that happen?"
"Let it happen? We had sex. Things like this happen, Danny."
"You didn't protect yourself? Aren't you on the pill?"
"No.. Danny, you knew that.."
"The hell I did! A baby! Jessica, we can't have a baby!"
"Why aren't you happy?" Jessica asks with a sad look across her face.
"I don't want a baby, Jessica!"
"But we're having one."
Danny looks her straight in the eyes and says, "No we're not. You are." He then walks back inside and out the front door.
Jessica turned and looked at him with such hurt on her face. Jessica thought this was going to be the most perfect night. Now she didn't know what the future held for her, Autumn and her unborn child.
